SeaGreen Gallery — Attraction in Nags Head

Where do I begin. How about the $300+ Rebecca Rogers painting I purchased along with other items patronizing this gallery only to be treated with suspicion and then was deliberately overcharged for a scented candle with a $16 price tag that was sneakily removed by the sales lady and then rung up as $26 at the register ( I had already saw the price tag when I first brought the candle to the register). At first I thought maybe I had been mistaken but when I got in my car and looked at the candle I saw that the price sticker had been removed when I wasn't looking. Wow, this gallery needs to cease dishonest business practices and improve customer treatment. Until then, I will not be returning. I thought they have some really neat and unique items not found anywhere else. Be warned that if business is slow during the off-season they will find a way to compensate themselves...

Nags Head location. First, I like that it’s off the main road (Croatan Hwy). Instead, it sits cozily on the beachy 2-lane Virginia Dare Trail. TIP: parking front and side is limited. And if possible, park on the side. Parking in front is easy pulling in, but dicey backing out due to traffic.

Creative eye candy is everywhere, including the exterior. Jewelry, geodes, crystals, shells, salvaged items turned into art or useful home decor, and out back a totally separate bubble worth checking out on its own: an odd and whimsical friendly small garden area populated by plastic soldiers, king kong, driftwood waves, ponds, fish, and... just explore along the narrow crooked paths! Prices are high to very reasonable, so you’re likely to find something w/in...

At first glance this is a beautiful shop, but it has ac issues that leak from vents at ceiling level and leave standing water...definitely a slip and fall issue...BEWARE ELDERLY PEOPLE LIKE ME!! OWNERS AREN'T EASILY REACHED FOR MERCHANDISING OPPORTUNITIES & SHOW FAVORITISM TO LOCAL BEACHCOMBERS INSTEAD OF PERSONS RELOCATING TO OBX....DOESN'T WANT TO STEP ON ANYONE'S TOES SAID THE CLERK VIA PHONE TO ME....STILL A BEAUTIFUL SHOP FULL OF GOODIES IF YOU DON'T FALL DOWN!!- photo shows me giving complete stranger my shell creation for free.
