I went last night with a group of 6. It was 8.50 for one game and 14.95 for unlimited play all night, so we decided to purchase the unlimited play. Well we should have taken a look around and realized the place was overcrowded. We waited 20 minuets to get in and watch the video in an overcrowded room. Then when we were allowed to put our vests on, there were not enough vests! All other players including half our group was released, and 3 of us were left standing there, vestless. My sister only had time to play one game and could not wait another 20 minutes for the next game so she went to get a refund. The cashier told us "no refunds", when the manager came over she echoed his response. I insisted that we had been wronged, separated from our group, and not even able to play because of their error and all we wanted was one refund since we had not used their services. Then the manager said she could give 1 refund, but that it was coming out of her own pocket, and not the register. Then she proceeded to go stick her key in the register and give my sister the refund! I decided to stay and play a few rounds, but it was not enjoyable. The place was totally over crowded, and the scoring system didn't even work the first time we played. They rebooted the system for the second time so we could see our scores, but that just meant we had to wait an extra 10 minutes (total of 30) between games. We have played lazer tag several times at destination fun up the highway 1.5 miles and think it is much better. It's not overcrowded, well managed, and you can actually run, jump and play a real game! I highly recommend destination fun...
Read moreWhat a STRANGE experience. I really can't explain it. The actual game of laser tag was a lot of fun. Prior to the game, we had to meet in a small room for instructions. As soon as we got there, two other guys, who were clearly buddies of the "head gamer", came in. The head gamer was having random side conversation with them. We had to wait for a few more groups to pay and come in. That was fine. Once it was time, it was SO weird. The head gamer was only talking to his buddies and kept saying "so have you guys been here before?" They kept going sarcastically back and fourth, and meanwhile there were 11 of us just sitting there wondering what the heck was going on. Then he proceeds to tell us we need to watch this "terrible video that he doesn't care to see again". We watch the video and then he very monotonously goes over the rules. One rule is no profanity. His buddy proceeds to say the F word, and I have both my kids in there with me. Then he divides the teams, who his friends keep insisting they just do them 2 against everyone else. He should have divided them onto each team. No clear instructions were given, and we get in and these guys just take over the whole thing. The wrong game mode was on, and the head gamer didn't realize it until his buddy told him. So we had to all go back out and start over. It was fun, but never having done it before, would have been soooo much more fun with just the group of 11 or so who had never done it before and were there just to have fun. There was absolutely no professionalism whatsoever. We will...
Read moreDo NOT go here if you're looking for a fun time with your family!! Our family of 12 waited in the small and loud arcade for almost an hour to play laser tag and then they grouped us with another large family. It was an absolute free-for-all to get our equipment so our family was split up on teams and more then 5 vests didn't work. So, as a result, they told three of our family members that they would have to play the next game WITHOUT our family after we already waited so long. They have signs that say No Refunds which is fine if you didn't enjoy your game (which, mind you, the family members who did get to play did not have a good time at all), but we did not get to play due to their faulty equipment! The manager (who looked 12 years old) had to call his boss. The three of us who couldn't play with our family waited for this 12 year old manager to get an answer and couldn't even watch the rest of our family play. After nearly 15 minutes, the kid-manager came back with a hand written (horrible hand writing) phone number on a ripped off corner of paper and told us he couldn't do anything, call the number and show our receipt. BUT I did NOT get a receipt. Since I bought three games, I had a game card and the kid-manager told me to take a picture of that "with, you know, like, a phone" (That's literally what he said). This place needs new management and new equipment. They seriously ruined the end of our vacation. DO NOT WASTE...
