Noosa Scoops — Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills

CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE NOT DISCLOSED until I specifically asked. I would have gone to the grocery store instead and bought ice cream. It's lucky I had $20 cash for the two items we purchased. One item was already being eaten when I went over to pay and I pulled out my card and remember to ask do you charge a fee. The guy said yes. So there was no notification before I ordered there was no notification when he rang it up. According to the North Carolina attorney general's office this is against the law and they could (and should) get fined. I've already reported another restaurant doing the same thing. No disclosure beforehand. They're supposed to tell you three times one verbally two written. No one is doing that as far as I know. Next they're going to want me to pay their water bill and their electric bill. Maybe I should bring my bills and have them pay those for me. Common sense says people spend more money using a credit card than they do cash. I'm going to start going to the grocery store and getting the food from there instead of going to these restaurants that are doing this. Pull up your big girl pants and carry your own weight small...

New place and great find! Good flavors and ice cream at a super great price ($4 to start, $3 for extra scoops). 24 flavor choices covering most options though it was lacking something with peanut butter inside of it, my favorite. Staff were kind with one person super new and the other more comfortable. I like the ambience here with mellow music, some indoor seating, outdoor benches and out back tables.

I've gone back on fourth on stars because I don't like they limit you to two samples and they don't have peanut butter topping or inside an ice cream. However the space is good, friendly staff, and great price. So five stars and a big ol' recommendation to come here.

I went with my friend who has fatal allergies. We called ahead as usual to see if they can accommodate, and were so happy that they had a practice in place already and didn’t have to make one up on the spot. They told us that they make to change out gloves and use a fresh scoop, but not only that, they scoop directly from a new tub of ice cream in the back. We’ve had to avoid ice cream places in the past since new gloves and scoops aren’t as safe as we prefer.

We went right away and the ice cream was delicious! I got the chocolate chip cookie dough and he got the red believer. My sugar cone cracked when the lady was scooping so she slid a new cone over the cracked one.
