Everytime I go to this store (and this will be the last one) the self check-out registers have some sort of glitch that as soon as you even simply scan your first item and place it in the bagging area, regardless of how heavy or bulky is, regardless of how you gently place it in the plastic bag, makes the computer of the register lock you out for and you need the attendant to come and unlock it, and this happens to any other customer who is at the same time with me at the register, so that it creates an inconvenient situation where there is (usually one poor attendant) that has to come do it, but the saddest thing, beside the inconvenience, is that the same attendant responds to you with that robotic attitude trying to explain you some sort of science behind it, that you think "uhm.. Why is this person pretending I am an idiot?.." and when you tell them that if that "is a scale", well you might solve this problem maybe with a sign, or let them understand you are following the procedure (it's not rocket science, hello!) but the registers are for some reason defective and needs to be looked at, they loom at you and shrug their shoulders like you are not a customer but an inconvenience and you are pretending too much (like what, just that the self check out works like any other reputable store of that kind?). Last but not the least, I don't know if because of that reset, I got a couple of products supposed to be strongly discounted, despite my Bashas card, for the full price (which was outrageously high and if I knew no way), rather than the shown discount, which made my experience at the self-check out even worse. No thank you,...
Read moreI stopped here during a road trip, hoping that they might have a deli for a quick meal. I stumbled upon the deli department, which had excellent service. They were very friendly and helpful. The menu had some great options, and my party was on board. We ordered the sandwiches, and my little one needed to use the restroom. Due to some issues with the store's aged appearance, I anticipated the bathrooms to be dirty, but they were very clean and smelled pleasant. I approached the counter to retrieve our sandwiches, and saw that the sandwiches were in the process of being made, but the team member had stepped away. Right about then, it became apparent that I was seeing multiple flies throughout the store. I turned back around and saw multiple flies sitting on our sandwiches, next to the open and unattended sandwich toppings. I immediately left the store. I couldn't get past the idea that flies could be on anything and everything in there that I might consume.
I will note that we opted for sandwiches from Jersey Mike's, and the employee there told me that Kingman was having an unusually large fly issue this summer (although there were none in their establishment). The service and bathroom are worth note and worth a couple stars, but I could not...
Read moreStopped In For coffee early morning. Made the order and I asked for sugar n was shown a jar with one envelope of raw sugar. I asked if they didn’t have regular sugar or Splenda. I was finally given a few packets but I kept looking for napkins n a stirrer non to be found so I asked for a stirrer. The girl finally picked one up pointed it upward and I said oh on, thank you. Still no napkin but no big deal about that. It was the way she did it and I said thank you n there was no response from her. I had tried I initiated. A conversation as I realized it looked like a Safeway. She said no but finally said they were bought out by Riley’s. So I said oh ok so you are owned by Safeway just another branch under their umbrella. The lady just turned n there was no answer. She proceeded to talk to another employee. We had been on the road 15 hours wanting coffee and just a nice lil conversation. It was early so no rush with...
