Dollar General — Local services in Kinston

The employees were very helpful and friendly. The store itself needs some help. My husband smokes Newport Red Shorts, and, yet again, they didn't have them in stock. This is not due to the fault of any employee though. The cigarette delivery brings whatever cigarettes they want to bring, as they are not allowed to order specific cigarettes. This would be a great thing to change. It gets really annoying when I have to make yet another stop just for cigarettes because the Dollar General doesn't have them in stock. Also, the registers at this particular store almost always seem to have issues. Last night when I was there, only one of the registers was working properly, as the other one would only accept cash and no cards. This was my first trip to this dollar general. The customer service was okay but they didn't seem to know much about the renovations that were going on. Half of the store was off the shelves due to renovations and most of the shelves were blocked, I asked two employees if they knew when renovations would be done and they had no clue when.
