Center Nails — Local services in Kirkland

Ownership change! This place used to be the go to in the area, then the new owner! About 5 months ago we met the new owner and every time someone walked in or called she helped them and took a long time or even stopped the pedicure and gave a walk in a brow wax - our scheduled service took forever! We were very disappointed and vowed to find a new place. Then we broke down and thought perhaps it was just new ownership and things had improved. The gel manicure this time only lasted 3 days - like regular nail polish - they are not doing the nails correctly or something is off! The owner kept answering a physical phone - please get a headset or keep the phone with you, but no - it was her family - grown children calling her to talk. Then for the pedicures they have completely reduced the services - no hot stones anymore. Terrible experience - so disappointing as this was a great place for decades! Photo is after 4 days. I live near by so I tried giving this place an honest shot. Every time they finish my nails I leave less than satisfied. This last time I went I came in with a picture of the nails I wanted. Holographic chrome nails FOR MY BIRTHDAY. They tell me they can do them so I believe them. After they shaped my natural nails (which btw was not hard since I had maintained them) and massaged them and cut them and stuff they finally get to the color. The powder won’t even stay on much less give the holo effect I was after. I don’t understand why they would tell me they could provide a service then fail so terribly. Worst customer service area. I work I the shopping center and have for years. $10 for a color change!! You've got to be kidding me?!?!?!? After declining, I'm talked about in another language the whole time I walk out the door. If you're going to rip people off, at least wait to talk about them in your own language when they're gone. Very snobby atmosphere, and friend of mine (who speaks the same language) came in and they are constantly talking about their loyal customers (and, not in a nice way).
