First and foremost, Rachel and Nicole. Owners that care about their customers, both loyal and new. I've been a patron since day 1 and I can say that their level of commitment has remained constant. They're awesome and so is their staff! Great job, Team!

Second, the Beer. Enough taps to keep things fresh (IPA's) and enough of a variety to keep everyone happy. And if you don't see it on tap, while there, turn around and peek inside the cooler. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

Third, the environment. It's comfy. It's cozy. It's spacious. It's inviting. You couple that with the warm reception that you receive from the Owners and/or Staff, It's easy to see why they have a 'hopportunist' club. People want to hang out and stay.

The food. Though 4th on the list, the food options are perfect for me. Hot Dogs, grilled cheese, chips,....and GAMES... game options are plentiful. And the selection continues to grow.

Not only is this a recommendation if you're ever on the Eastside (Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue) looking to grab a beer or two, this is a huge thank you to Rachael, Nicole, and Steve for having the vision to create such a wonderful place. I'm sure I'll...

The garlic bread! Never before have I been so happy to have to pay to get bread at a restaurant! The pesto dipping sauce was a surprise but it was AMAZING! As far as the sandwiches, they were super creative and DELICIOUS concoctions. I got the PEANUT BUTTER GRILLED CHEESE! Peanut butter, cheddar cheese, and bacon with some other good stuff that was incredible.

Trivia night was also fun. Definitely worth checking out!

I almost want to mark down for the cookies but that would be a slap for the other amazing food but I still have to say something...I got a peanut butter one and it tasted incredibly stale, especially compared to the chocolate one which was fine... Not really worth $2 imo. Both came wrapped in plastic so for the PB cookie to be stale means it must have been several days old... Or really that bad... In either case I told the female server working and she just stared at me blankly and said that's all they had. I should have been more direct and just asked for a refund because she just didn't seem to care at all. Only ended up taking a few bites of it and I love cookies!! Venting complete.

10/10...

We four had dinner and drinks; two among our party live nearby and are regulars. I really enjoyed the Bibimbap I ordered with beer!

BEER/WINE: 4.0. Good selection of beers, and limited but decent wines. We were all satisfied with our choices of beers and wines. FOOD: 4.0. Bibimbap: 4.5. A real standout and I will order again. I hadn't had Bibimbap this good since living in Hawaii and Guam. I chose to have with Tofu, though beef is also available. Especially good with a cold beer. Sashimi: 3.5. The Japanese person in our group rated her DELUXE DINNER as quite good for previously-frozen fish, and says she would order it again. I ordered one tako sashimi and would rate it a 2.5; in future I won't order individual sashimi. SERVICE: 3.5. Enthusiastic and accurate. AMBIANCE: 4.0. Indoor and some outdoor seating. It became quite full by 6pm on the Friday we visited (with a full parking lot), but never got so noisy that we couldn't easily carry on a...

Our friends suggested meeting up at The Thirsty Hop, and though a hop shop with sushi seemed like a strange mix, it turned out to be a great combination! As you walk in, the cozy vibe is immediately inviting, especially on a cold, rainy day with an inviting fireplace to sit next to. They even have games to play! The beer selection was decent with plenty of choices, and the sushi was surprisingly delicious! We ordered quite a bit, with the Hawaiian tuna being a standout favorite—we liked it so much, we ordered it twice. We also tried a variety of other dishes, including wings, gyoza, and rolls, and everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humor, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. As we left, the place was getting busy. We wish them the best of luck and hope they continue to stay busy!

Pretty good place to enjoy drinks. They had a Trivia eve on Friday when I went. Crowd was very energetic and nice vibe overall. About the staff, they were okay. Not the most welcoming, but definitely not like few other places I have been in Redmond/Kirkland area. That was the only reason for not giving 5*. I sat at the bar, FYI. So can't Comment on servers. Their 🍻 selection is great. You can also buy cans/bottles and crack open them in the restaurant. You have to pay some fee to do that. I don't really know how that works. I tried asking but I didn't get a good answer on that. The gist was that buying a 6 pack and having it there will cost you more than buying 6 pints. Don't know how that's calculated. Overall, a good place to spend time!
