All the best things about pizza by the slice happened during a quick visit. I was running late but wanted to surprise my son with a couple of slices. This corner location popped up on my way so I was able to drive in and park with ease. The parking spots were positioned ideally, which I love. I was greeted and could see there were three options for me. I went with the tricolor and the classic cheese. While they heated it I could see on the condiment counter the hot peppers and the Parmesan that I wanted to take. What impressed me was seeing them in the green compostable containers and discovering that the lids and cups for water and drinks were also clearly compostable. I saw a cool pick up area that was separated for clarity as well as protection of the food as it waited for pick up. The dining area had a couple of eating in guests and was clean. The pizza was done in just a few minutes, a little extra crispy as I had requested, and I was out of there. The whole visit was less than seven minutes and the customer service was friendly and flawless. Fantastic and the prices were reasonable. Great that this location exists and I'll be back again.

Called in today for a large Pagliacci salad (no onions), it was delicious. Nothing better then a cool crisp salad for our picnic lunch. Oh so yummy and not a bad way to spend the last day of "winter" since it's 80 degree in the Pacific Northwest. I'm giving them 4 out of 5 star because I'm only rating the salad today. Employees were nice and service was fast and friendly. We went during the lunch rush and we were out of there, within minutes. The large salad filled two of these Dixie paper plates, just enough for two people if your not eating anything else. I recommend the party size if more then two because it always leaves you wanting more.

Food: The flavor of the custom combination was excellent, but ordering extra cheese is necessary. The 17" was way too big for two people, plenty of food. Thin crust. 4 stars. Service: The delivery driver waited at the end of the walkway to make sure we got our pizza. 5 stars. Price: Over $30 for a large pizza is pricey, but paying for quality with delivery. 4 stars.

Ok, here are the facts, and you guys decided for yourself.

When ordering by phone: pagliacci uses a stupid phone service company because they are too lazy to take orders at the pizzeria! The phone service company says pagliacci requires credit card payment over the phone to order pizza. THAT IS STUPID and a waist of time to give some random company your credit card info..makes no sense at all. They ask for your full name, address, and credit info. Then they want to up sell you stupid menu items..waist of time.

When you buy a pie in the store, they don't take cash, yes, correct, these people don't take cash....lol. Kirkland must have a bunch of thieves who must be stealing pizza and napkins and red peppers after they rob the till clean. Again, it makes no sense to make things more inconvenient to the customer.

What about charging $5 a slice? Ghees c'mon. They act like screwing their customers is no biggie because they know you will keep getting ripped off because their pizza is super good..lol.

What about charging $35-$40 for a pie? A complete ripp-off for a tasty pizza seriously, yes customers are paying 50-100$ to eat here and those people must be rich or niave or maybe they really don't care because they act like spending that kind of money is ok for pizza?? Who knows.

At the end of the day, pagliacci has very good pizza that takes 20 min. Their pizza is cooked in a high-quality deck oven with a big foot logo on the box, but that doesn't justify the price they are charging for a whole pie. They can't blame the high cost tonrun a business because they make huge profits and they will tell you otherwise.

All this...

I've been ordering Pagliacci pizza for 15 years now, and I'll continue to order from them exclusively. If it's not Pagliacci, I ain't ordering pizza, period. Recently visited the location here at 70th for a quick slice for lunch and it was nice and convenient. Was able to sit outside in some shade and enjoy a slice after quick and courteous service. Pizza was tasty as always, I went with the Brooklyn Bridge this time. Normally I like to go with the PSR, but sometimes I need some more toppings. I've had a lot of their different menu offerings over the years, but I generally keep it to the basics with pizza.

Whenever I order online, my deliveries show up quickly, and the pizza is always hot. I never have to worry about the pizza showing up cold, or like it was in one of those frozen pizza commercials. If I order to show up at a particular time, it is never late. Usually I can count on it being 5-10 minutes early, which has never been an issue. Their drivers are always very nice and during COVID would drop the pizza and walk back 6+ feet and wait for you to answer the door and retrieve the pizza. Some drivers even had a little stand so you wouldn't have to pick the box up off the ground. Quite the touch.

The very few times I've had an issue with Pagliacci (face it, it's gonna happen when you go somewhere for 15+ years), they ALWAYS take care of me right away and make the situation right. That's a sign they actually care about their customers and service is paramount to them. Their pizza won't be the cheapest you can order, but it's going to...
