I ordered the filet mignon with the lobster for my birthday on May 15th here. Once it arrived the server asked to check my medium rare steak and so I cut it in the center to check. We both grunted in disappointment when we seen it was completely cooked throughout so the cook obviously didn't use a thermometer or watch it closely if he was guessing. So he said he'd get it addressed. Came back and then it was completely raw. So I again mentioned the cook needs to use a thermometer so he doesn't have to guess. I know by checking temp from my own cooking experience it takes out the guess work in which I seen the cook struggling with. So he sent it back now a 2nd time. It came back out once more and was still a little undercooked in the center so it needed so more time. So now the manager came out and asked what was going on. I told him the situation and that it was obvious. He mentioned the cook was new and I had pulled up some charts to show them as a good reference to use to get the temperature right. He pulled out what their chart and it was funny they were practically the same. I asked why the new cook wasn't using it. So he said he'd personally make it. With the troubles I was suggesting just canceling it but the manager insisted. Once it came out he had the thermometer still in the meat and my brother cut the center to check while I returned from the restroom. Simply by the look I could tell it was spot on and made the point that if the cook followed his instructions I would have never had an issue. Another cook made my daughters steak and my brothers pictured above and hit it spot on so I was requesting he make mine but the manager decided to take over after the 3rd sent back from being to over cooked. Then to undercooked twice. They did give me a complimentary discount for the troubles and a small cake for my birthday when I showed my id. So with that I appreciated the corrections made to the cooks downfalls.

decided to give this longhorn another shot after a pretty rough experience a couple wks ago and unfortunately the bad luck continued, wife's chicken sandwhich had alot of burnt spots on it along with what we were told after complaining about a possible hair is that it was burnt strings from the corn husks because they melt the cheese onto the chicken next to corn (now think about that if you have a corn allergy) thank god my wife didnt, got a remake which took awhile for a deep fried piece of chicken n that one came back drenched in grease with multiple burnt spots as well, i ordered a cheeseburger that came out blacker then the asphalt roads we drive on (i ordered it medium). also bacon was added on which i did not order, asked for sauces for the fries that didnt come with the meal, i ended up paying for the burger out of guilt but we basically ate 2 breads n some cold fries, the server apologized alot but it didnt fix the ruined lunch date, upon leaving we witnessed multiple other tables complaining about there food as well, just was not a good experience

This is one of my favorite steak houses. It also happens to be the closest LongHorn to me. They make a very good steak that is tasty, melts in your mouth and is cooked to perfection. I ordered the 9 ounce Flo's filet which is one of their legendary steaks. For my side dishes I ordered the sweet potato with butter and brown sugar and the Brussel sprouts. The Brussel sports have been caramelized and have a sweet nutty buttery taste. Our attendants were helpful and friendly as was all the staff. They even took the time to wish us a good evening as we were leaving. The decor is a western theme and they have some beautiful artwork of the Grand Canyon. It is a steak house that really knows how to make their steaks so be prepared to pay a little extra, but it is well worth it. The food was good and filling. I didn't even have room for dessert. They also offered us a to go of our beverages if we wanted them. As I said we were too full to take advantage of this. We will be coming Back again as usual.

Currently sitting in the parking lot as I am writing this. 10:10 Easter time, longhorn on orange blossom trail. I was sitting at the bar studying the kitchen as I waited on my food and drinks. I noticed the cook who is handling the grille have around 4 asparagus in his Tongs and ask another employee for a plate. He then throws the asparagus on the plate and reaches down to the FLOOR and retrieves one he dropped and placed it on the same plate. I then watched them place those asparagus off that plate and onto my steak plate. When the plate arrived to me I immediately told my bartender that that was just picked up off the floor. She then took it back to the manager which I can hear and see since I am at the bar closest to the kitchen. He then says no way I just watched him place them on the plate. I then begin to stop him and advise him that I don't have to lie about food. He then leaves the kitchen and comes to the bar to tell me that the food did not come from the floor. I stated to him that I watched it fall on the floor and I explained exactly where he was at and the 2 cooks who watched this happened and still allowed it to get sent out. He then advises the kitchen to REMAKE Without even advising the cook on grille to change his utensils(tongs) that he used to pickup the asparagus from the floor. WHICH IS VERY UNSANITARY. This manager never apologized or anything. He came to argue over something that he may not have seen but that is very unprofessional. Covering my bill is not what I wanted when we as a couple showed up and I was left without eating. My dining experience was 0/0. Hope to hear...

After being immediately seated, we,(party of 4,), waited 20 minutes before a very nice employee, Christian, came by and apologized for our server, Manona,, as he was not. He took our drink order finally. Our server showed up and brought our kids drinks and waters. Our orders from the bar took another 20 minutes. Our food was brought out to the table first 2 steaks and a burger, my steak for some reason took another 10 minutes. I immediately noticed it was overcooked as I ordered it medium, my guess is it sat in the window and continued to cook. I returned it along with my daughters steak that was also overcooked. Our server, who did not bring our food, comes by and is clearly clueless about my order asks, “so how is everything with a big beaming smile. Mind you there is an empty spot in front of me where my plate should be. 15 minutes later after my wife and son finished their meals, the manager brings my steak and I cut into it to check it as does my daughter. Hers is cooked correctly, mine is clearly more rare than medium, but I don’t dare send it back a 3rd time. I finish my plate and there we sit for another 15 minutes before our server returns. We ask for the check and of course the manager or server did nothing to reflect the poor service and preparation of our meals. I was taught to never, not give a tip. The Nickel you received from me was more than generous for the absence of any attentiveness...
