I'm not sure why this restaurant got only a 3.8 for the total rating. Maybe it was for an earlier time & I didn't read all the reviews. My husband & I ate there last night. We were seated promptly by a pleasant woman who also turned out to be our waitress. She was very friendly (as I noticed she was to other customers, also. I wish I would've gotten her name; she made us feel welcomed and as if she cared about us as more than "just another customer".) The menu was full of choices, from reasonably-priced combination meals (choice of 2 soups, plus an egg roll, plus pork fried rice). We've never seen all of those items included in a combination. The won ton soup I had was delicious, and my husband said his egg drop soup was also good. We were also served with a separate bowl of fried won ton strips for snacking or putting on top of the soup. I found the eggroll to have a bit different taste than others I've had (maybe because of the filling inside?) - it was not my favorite, but my husband liked his. The fried rice came alongside our main dish & was easily more than one serving!! I had Shrimp with Cashew Nuts. It had many large shrimp, along with veggies to include snow peas, zucchini, carrots, celery, etc. It was absolutely delicious and was so much, I have leftovers for another meal! M y husband had the spicy Kung Po Shrimp. His also had plenty of shrimp, veggies & peanuts. He said the amount of spice was perfect - definitely spicy, but not so much as to overpower the dish. He also had some leftovers & when combined with some of mine, he will also have enough for another meal at home. There were many other items on the menu that weren't of a combination nature, some which looked to be especially authentic Chinese. While we were leaving, we noticed an older Asian couple eating some delicious-looking greens, seafood (lobster?) and white rice. The restaurant truly has a large variety of menu items! Also, we thought this was going to be like the typical strip-mall take-out kind of place. It wasn't. They had seating in a nice, large, quiet area, with comfortable booths and tables & chairs. The only thing that would make it better would be perhaps to have some soft Asian music playing in the background. Orlando is originally my hometown; even though we're here visiting from NC, we will come back to this restaurant next time we're here! (Oh, and the customer who wrote about the raw pork may have indeed gotten that, but I wonder if they saw the red color that's naturally on Chinese pork that's cooked a certain way. All the pork in my Won Ton soup & fried rice was...
Read moreTRAUMATIZING DO NOT EAT HERE. I genuinely don’t know how to put into words the level of horror and disgust I experienced at this restaurant. I have been coming here since I was a kid. It’s a local favorite, well-rated, well-known, and up until now, I had always trusted the food and the people behind it.
But after what happened to me, I will NEVER eat here again!!! I don’t think anyone should.
While eating my takeout order of fried rice with my family, I discovered a rather large INSECT!! what appeared to be either a ROACH or CRICKET embedded deep inside my food. It wasn’t near the top. It wasn’t something that just “fell in.” It was COOKED IN with the food, fully mixed into the rice. I only discovered it after I had ALMOST FINISHED MY PLATE.
As soon as I realized what it was, I went into complete shock. I literally threw up. I still feel nauseous. This was traumatizing genuinely TRAUMATIC. I will never forget that moment.
I immediately filed a report with the Florida Department of Health and will be submitting all photo and video evidence. This goes far beyond a “bad night” or a “rare mistake.” This is a serious health violation that puts customers including children and families at risk. The idea that someone else, especially a child, could bite into this is absolutely HORRIFYING.
This place needs to be held accountable, and the public deserves to know the truth. I never thought I’d have to say this, but please please please do not eat here. It is not worth the risk.

Read moreI had been going there for years my husband went at least 3 times a week the original owner was wonderful and his chef was great once he left the place the quality of food went downhill but we stayed faithful. The straw that broke the camel's back was when the waitress complains in front of other guests about her tip even though we've been going there for years and she know us my mind was occupied and I should have left more of a tip because there was one extra person but there was no reason for her to come out like that in front of guess I'm in the customer service business that was terrible. And yet still we went back one more time and it was maybe 3:40 in the afternoon and bunches up to 4 and the waitress the same one again decided she was going to give us the evening menu I told my husband let's get out of here I will never come back again and I haven't been there since even though I believe that the one the best thing there was a wonton soup and I crave it every now and then but I will not go back. My mother and my sister have also found that the food is no longer the way you used to be and we first visit at that establishment and I need to do something about the waitress when you allow your waitress to do that in your business and there's something wrong with the place thank you. So not only that they lose my business they lost my mother's business and my sister's business not because of me but because of the quality of the food and as I see from the reviews many people...
