Columbia Factory Store — Local services in Kittery

Columbia is one of my top go-to brands for clothing, especially for colder weather. I prefer getting my fleece jackets here vs on their online site because I can never seem to find the exact model online, which is annoying. This location is pretty well stocked in both the men’s and women’s sections; kid’s and accessories could be bigger. Staff is generally helpful and friendly. I do wish the women’s side was more stocked in larger sizes; there was an excess of XS and S. The deals are also not quite as good as they used to be and the “sale prices” have been raised higher than what they originally were. I love going to a Columbia Sportswear store. There are always articles of clothing with a hint of nostalgia, and coming to the outlet recently proved that theory.

Seasonal outerwear included jackets and vests, some with a hint of "Back to the Future." Customer service was welcoming and we were thankful for the employees who worked there.

One thing to ask is to see if there are extra discounts you can get by being a member of a travel club or if you have a particular credit card. This may save you an extra percentage, but only if you actively ask.

We just had the most amazing shopping experience at this Columbia location. And it was all thanks to Kim! Thank you Kim for being very helpful (yet not overbearing or invasive of space). Kim was very knowledgeable in various options and combinations of clothing we were interested in. She also checked on extra stock for us and found a jacket I am most pleased with! She persevered through all my n00b questions about winter wear (I’m from Florida) and absolutely set me up for success in future cold weather adventures my wife and I are to set out upon.
