I went to the Kittery location, needed to return a pair of shoes, had proof of purchase on my Nike app. Mind you, I spent $1597.00 there this year. I was told they wouldnāt take my return without a receipt. The point of giving my email when I buy shoes is so that if I lose my receipt. Which is what happened, the rude lady manager who looked like she was hopped up was leaving as her shift was done and she didnāt have time for this and I should call customer service and tell at them. I refused, so she then said she wonāt take them back because the policy changed and she then tried to read the policy to me. She had said without proof of purchase they wouldnāt accept. Well, I had proof of purchase as she had my phone in her hand. I said there it is. She then asked when I bought the shoes because if it was outside of the return policy she wouldnāt take them. But I bought them a month ago soā¦.she said even though I have proof of what I paid she would only give me the LOWEST PRICE THEY HAVE EVER SOLD FOR. She proceeded to tell this at the register as other customers were in line behind me making me feel like a dirt bag. I spent a bunch of money in that particular store this year. This doesnāt count my online purchases or outlets elsewhere or mall. She made it known I would only get credit, which is all I wanted anyways. So even though I paid $169 for the shoes she only approved $99 dollars , she then rang up the two pairs of shoes I was going to buy and it came to 87.50. So I said ok just put the $11 and change credit on a card and Iāll use it next time. She refused and made me go around the store on my broken leg to find something for $11.50 or I would forfeit it. I was told use it now or not at all. She then left the store and had someone else finish the transaction for her. Great manager. Good customer service. I have been in customer service my whole life, Iād never treat someone this way. Real classy maāam, thanks for all your help you were wonderful. God I wish Reebok had nice shoes cause Iād never spend a dollar here again....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and and I were just in this store. From the moment we went in, everywhere we went to look at items we were followed. An employee would come over and ask if we needed help and kept glancing down and looking at my bag as if I were going to attempt to steal something. This happened three times. Finally I took my items that I wanted to purchase up to the register while I continued to look around so that they would stop following me around. My husband asked one of them a question regarding a pair of shoes and was answered with a nasty passive aggressive comment. We paid for our items and left. This experience was very uncomfortable. We have been shopping in this store for years and have never had this experience. It must be under new management. We have previously spent a great deal of money in this store. That is over now. We will NEVER return to this store and will let everyone we know what a horrible and degrading experience we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy Family and I have shopped at the Kittery outlets in Maine specifically, the Nike outlet, for many years since we live just across the border in New Hampshire. We went to the outlet recently and we were running late and we knew the store closed at 8 P.m. We rushed over there and we arrived at 7:50 PM. When we attempted to enter the store, the doors were locked. There were three employees inside the door that clearly saw us but ignored us. My family was super frustrated, but we got back in the car Headed over to the Adidas outlet, which also closed at 8:00 PM. Thereās a very nice gentleman inside that let us in and we quickly made our purchases and left. Our purchases totaled over $400. I just want to express my disappointment with the Nike outlet and the lack of customer service. I am a true believer. If you have a time posted on your door, the door should be open...
