Theory Wellness: Kittery Recreational Cannabis Dispensary — Local services in Kittery

Unfortuneately i will never do business with any theory wellness again. I made an online purchase in kittery ME. I arrived to pick up and was given my bag of items. The clerk read my receipt and never looked in the bag. I took the bag sat down in my car for what had to be 5 seconds. Opened the bag and instantly noticed I was missing the infused prerolls I ordered and had on my receipt. I went right back inside and was then told to sit on a couch ( where I sat for 40 mins) while they did their “investigation”. After the 40 mins of me patiently waiting with my wife and child in the car, a person came from out back to speak with me. He said after the investigation “we saw on camera the prerolls going into the bag and never saw them come out”. Basically accusing me of going to my car and hiding them and coming back in trying to get more. I understand the cautiousness on that. But I also came back in instantly and sat and waited. Seems like sure signs that I wasn’t trying to pull anything. (Read the room). I was then told I wouldn’t be getting the pre rolls and no refund would be issued. I was kinda lost at that point and they clearly wanted me to just leave. I asked how they could be gone if it was on camera and got no real answer. I had them take my phone number down and said to call me if they find them or their inventory was off. After basically calling me a liar and thief they call me 3 hours later (i drove and hour to get there) and said “we were one over on our inventory! You can come pick up the pre rolls whenever u want befor we close” they added $30 in LOYALTY points to my account. Funny as the pre rolls cost more than twice that amount and the only loyal one was me. I drove back to the store to pick up my items, made a purchase to use all my loyalty points up and left and won’t be back. Unfortunate because I was coming here once every few weeks. As a cannibis user and generally courteous person I wouldn’t recommend any person shop here. This situation was wrong and disrespectful. Came here for the first time last week. Super easy to find and plenty of parking. Also easy to get out of parking lot and back on maine (see what I did??☺️) road.

I placed a preorder and upon arrival my id was checked. The guy working at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Once I was granted access to the retail shop I was greeted by Colin (I think that was his name), who had my preorder ready once I gave him my id (just keep your id out). He opened up my bag and showed me each product I had ordered to make sure the order was correct. He was super friendly & we chatted for a few moments.

The quality of the products I got was phenomenal, and the watermelon lollipops are my favorite thing I picked up. I liked that they had a good selection of various edibles (drinks, gummies, lollipops, etc).

I'm leaving this review because I filled out their customer satisfaction survery & got an actual reply to my postive feedback from the general manager today. After coming here to look at the reviews, and seeing that they are listening to their customers feedback, and replying to almost every review....well, that's impressive to say the least.

I definitely recommend this dispensary and will be back soon!!

** To the person that left one star because they weren't allowed to handle/see the product: you realize this is a highly regulated industry, right?? Did you not get that impression by the double id checks upon walking in the building?? Clearly their product has to be sold SEALED, or have you not noticed how impossible some of the packages are to open (maybe it's just me that has difficulty...

This was my first time checking out, Theory Wellness. As, I was just made aware of their existence a few days ago when Leafly showed me:

I recently moved back to Kittery (after spending a yr in Dover, NH) and have been going to East Coast Cannabis in order to obtain what my friends (affectionately refer to cannabis as) MY equivalent to that of air, water, or, blood - to the average human. You know - Something you cannot live without!

My reason for checking out Theory was two-fold:

Though Eliot is close by, you CAN'T beat NOT having to leave your own town! AND...

After perusing Theory's online menu, it was clear, RIGHT AWAY, that their prices (as well as, EXTENSIVE product selection) were much better suited, for my budget than that of, ECC. (I'm talking almost a $20 DIFFERENCE, in pricing - between the 2 shops, and for the same/comparable equivalent products!)

That said, I am happy to report that the staff was friendly, knowledgeable & generally helpful - overall.

The atmosphere was, in-a-word: Dope. Plus, like I said, prices...

CAN'T. BE. BEAT! Add that to the fact that, I've, just now, sampled the product (and, am simply giddy, with delight)
