I visited with my child at the old location when they were 12 month old! We loved it so much, the staff were so kind and welcoming! My husband brought our child again on his 2nd birthday at the new location too and he said it was awesome and our child had a blast!
The only thing, I dont necessarily doubt they clean well, but I personally think maybe they need to find more or different ways to clean everything, or maybe more frequently? I only say this because, like someone else who recently left a review, the first time we came to play my child and I fell very sick with Covid. I was pregnant at the time as well and work in a daycare with lots of germs where we clean daily and I never got as sick as I did after going to let’s play. I didn’t totally blame it on them though. I made the decision to go somewhere with more outside germs. But the second time my husband and 2 year old went, our whole family got extremely sick right after, including my infant, and it lasted 4 months. We were in and out of the ER the whole time. None of us have compromised immune systems (aside from my infant who’s still young enough to get sick easily), my two children and I are in a daycare every day, and it’s never been this bad.
I’ve felt this way for a while but didn’t decide to write a review until I saw the Facebook post Let’s Play just made. I’m using a different email because they threatened to expose people who write bad reviews, which is absolutely bonkers. I love this place and planned on having a birthday party with them in the summer, but seeing how nasty the owner can get has pushed me away. I’ve seen their response to the other review as well and it’s written so rude. That could be a genuine review by someone who happened to use a different name on their email. My regular email I use is not the same name as the one as on my license or birth certificate because I changed it a long time ago and just never changed it on my email because it hasn’t been necessary yet and doesn’t bother me. It’s so wild to be so rude to someone who may be writing genuine reviews of your establishment. This review is very genuine just to show that I’ve had a very similar experience to the other person. I never would have left this either if the owners of let’s play weren’t being so nasty to others so publicly. Maybe instead of focusing on google reviews, work with your team of staff to figure out what you might be able to do differently.
Also, you know how many Elizabeth’s there are? Those two different reviews could’ve EASILY been two different people. Everyone receives negative reviews sometimes, it doesn’t mean they’re fake. Take it as constructive criticism.
I hope something changes because I’d love to come back as my toddler loved coming and I’d love to still have a party, but not with owners so rude behind a screen. I feel my 3 stars is generous but 2 stars is a bit too harsh because I didn’t genuinely love our experience. I just can’t get past what’s going...
Read moreLet’s Play is an amazing asset to families in the community with young children. It’s incredibly clean and well maintained and my daughter loves coming here when it’s too cold or rainy for the playground! The equipment is fun and new and its great for babies, toddlers and small children alike. I love that there is a dedicated area for small babies because we all know how well meaning bigger kids can trample them. The owners couldn’t be nicer and more welcoming and are always keeping an eye on things. They offer fun pop up events and classes and are truly such a great part of the community. One time my husband left my daughter’s back pack behind, which is embroidered with her first name - we had no idea where we had lost it, and they went through their records to figure out who it belonged to based on my daughter’s first name only and called us to get it back to us! Other places would’ve probably tossed it, but these people are kind and caring for...
Read moreWow. Just wow! Let’s Play way absolutely amazing! We had a birthday party for my 4 and 2 yr old here. We had close to 50 people (22 kids ages ranging 3 months to 7). We all had a blast.
I can’t say enough great things about the space and Lea! Lea was absolutely fantastic. From her communication with us to her helping set up and take things down. She was so helpful letting everyone know when it was time to eat, do the pinata, etc. Not to mention she is just a kind and friendly human being and we felt like we were talking with a friend any time we needed her.
The space was fantastic. It’s huge and even with close to 50 people we didn’t feel cramped. There was something for everyone to play with too.
We will absolutely be going back in the future. Thank you Lea for creating such a fun affordable option for families who want to celebrate and...
