We came for a friendâs birthday party. The food is just okay. The lanes are blocked off two at a time which is kind of nice so it gives you more of a secluded feel rather than sharing a party with the whole bowling alley.
Itâs neat that is downtown, if the food was better might want to visit more often. As it is, itâs just okay. There are closer bowling alleys to our house with better food.
The pretzels and cheese are good, but they donât give you enough cheese so we had to order another side of cheese ($3 I believe) and by the time we got it, our pretzels were cold. They should just give you less pretzels or give you two small cups of cheese or a bigger bowl of it.
The nachos were not great (I included a picture, the little bit of cheese you can see in the picture is literally all the cheese on them). The chips were hard (not crispy/crunchy hard, but stale hard). The stuff on top was not evenly dispersed and there wasnât much cheese on them either (not sure whatâs up with the lack of cheese here, but if you have to, just charge an extra $2-3 and give people more cheese).
My husband liked the sandwich he got, and the kids liked the pretzels and cheese until the cheese ran out. The dessert pretzels were pretty good too. This place has potential. Maybe if they step up their food game itâll be 5...

My family threw a surprise party for my brother's 50th birthday. Our personal server, Clay, was very attentive, friendly, always there to get us what we wanted and didn't act annoyed at all. That's impressive when you're dealing with a private party of 20 people. He did amazing!
Jessica, the bartender that night was quick with the drinks. Also, she was so sweet when my husband and I came in the day before the party to get a feel of the layout. She showed us the room we booked (the private room with 2 lanes) and went over everything with us.
Allison, the lady I booked the party through, was awesome at helping me figure out the best food suggestions regarding how many people were coming. She emailed me back and answered all my questions very quickly.
I would recommend Maple Hall to anyone who needs a cool place to have a party, or if you like to bowl or just like to hang out while others bowl. The atmosphere is very trendy, but nostalgic. It's located in the basement of the old JCPenney. The food is really good and they have some tasty drinks on their drink menu. We had a blast that night and will do it again...
Read moreWe had our small wedding reception at the Maple Hall Room and it was wonderful. Caroline took care of everything from food catering, checking allergies, to champagne toast, and having everything come out with excellent timing and it ran so smoothly. The food was amazing & they even took care of getting the desserts from Ham & Goody's, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. We were able to play our own music & have a photo booth. The bartender and servers were so attentive and really lovely people. The drinks were also really good. I got so many compliments on the venue, food, desserts, drinks and service from my guests. They also accommodated us early and started getting us drinks right away, which was so nice, since it was about to start raining and we had just walked from the courthouse getting photos and were overheated. I am so grateful for everyone who worked on our event! It was perfect and I was able to just enjoy it and not worry about a thing. Thank...
