Radius Rooftop Lounge — Local services in Knoxville

If you are a person of color or if your style of dress does not perfectly fit their narrow standard, do not expect fair treatment at this establishment. On August 30, 2025, I was denied entry for a minor rip in my jeans while I personally witnessed non-POC being welcomed inside wearing flip flops and basic t-shirts without question.

On previous visits when I somehow managed to get inside, I was met with the same unsettling pattern. Staff and security fixated on me from across the room as though they were searching for a reason to intervene. The selective enforcement of rules is not only unprofessional, it is discriminatory.

What makes this even more absurd is the attitude of management. Josh and his staff conduct themselves as if they are operating a five-star rooftop in Downtown Nashville or something. In reality, the space is limited, the music is underwhelming, and nothing about the environment justifies this exclusionary or elitist behavior.

This is not simply poor hospitality. It reflects a deeper bias that should not be ignored. Nashville offers countless venues that treat patrons with respect and create inclusive experiences. This establishment has chosen the opposite path, and it deserves to be...

I used to really enjoy going to this bar! Everyone was personable and fun! It’s a great location (definitely best views in Knoxville), but I think there’s a new manager because everything has changed since he took over. I’ve had multiple questionable charges on my card and they’re really bad about allowing someone that’s not you to charge to your card. I also got charged $31 the other day for a margarita where I normally pay $18 (for a double). I went to the girls at this bar with this issue and they said they were new and didn’t offer any help. Someone else just said that was right and didn’t tell me why it was so much. There is no one to call for disputes and they are unable to bring up old checks for you when you ask. I think they are able to charge as much as they want, and they’ve been taking advantage of that a little too much recently. I’ve also heard and seen a lot of reports of people getting laced here. It may be people at the bar, but these people have suspicion that it’s the bartenders. This is a very serious issue that needs attention! I hate that my favorite place in Knoxville has turned into a place that I only enjoy for the views. I hope this situation can get resolved so I can enjoy my favorite...

My review will probably be deleted lol but I’ve lived in Knoxville all my life I’ve been to almost every bar every club I’m a very respectful African-American , I’ve came to this location six times in only have gotten in ONE time successfully when I was with my at the time caucasian girlfriend, I’ve been denied at the door five times when I was with other African-American males, they always say we’re not dress code, even when I bought a room I was told Fridays they’re not as strict on dress code came on Friday wearing the dress code an still denied while people walk out wearing the same type of clothes as me came the following Saturday wearing dress code that they ask still was denied and my friend too.you have to look almost rich to go inside lol.this place to seems a little bit prejudice in very Judging they go off the type of people that they allow in and I’m NOT saying they only allow white people because I’ve seen them get turned down as well, but everything is based off how that person looks.you almost have to have a HIGH CLASS AND BUJI look or else u can’t...
