I travel for work and was in the area of this Michael's yesterday. I had a $10 voucher to use and time to kill so went to this location for the first time. I frequent Michael's in many different cities and states where my job takes me. I typically wouldnt write a review but I felt this location deserved one. One main reason I choose Michael's over Hobby Lobby is because on average the employees actually provide customer service. I don't typically have much interaction with management but happened to ask my question about a product with no price, to a member of management as they walked by. I wish I had taken the time to ask his name or read his name tag. He was perhaps the store manager. He wore glasses. He seemed to be in the middle of something when I stopped him but took the time to hear me out, look up the item, gave a great price on this clearance item and even helped me with check out. After check out, I thought of something I forgot and he took even more time to show me the location after their most recent reset. This may not sound like much to some, but in this day and age, customer service seems to dwindle by the minute. This gentleman was personable and professional and really showed impeccable customer service. I highly recommend this location based on the service I received. Read moreBUYER BEAWARE and be robbed of your hard earned dollars at this Michael's Clinton location!!! I went to make my return around 11 this morning with receipt in hand and unopened package as today is the final day to return as I'm within my 60 days to return 03/27/24 (bought 01l27/24). Store cashier and Store assistant Manager Glenn scanned my receipt and told me their machine told them no I cannot return as their computer system is rigged to not let you return on the final day. What are you talking about, TODAY is the day it is set to expire according to your store return policy per your return policy at Michael's. Glenn pulled out of thin air telling me it expired at midnight last night...lol.. Seriously Glenn lying to me isn't kind or nice. So I called their corporate office and they confirmed to me that I am right and they should have honored my return receipt and given me my rightful refund. Corporate told me the Store Manager Karen at this Micheals Clinton location will contact me within the next 24-48 hours as of today 03/27/24 it is 2:10 pm as I write this so I will update ya'll in this matter. Read moreHi I would like to come on here to request some support. The manager who I found out his name later was not someone that should be in management. I was in the store for 30 ish minutes. This was my first time ever in a Michaels. I am a part of a crafting community and own my own business and an item was recommended to me from Michael’s. So where did I go MICHAELS! The entire time I was in the store this manager named RON followed me everywhere. Mind you I have no bag I’m carrying my wallet and my phone I’m wearing a t shirt and leggings with no pockets. I have no way to steal nor would I ever think about that as I am a store manager of a retail store as well. To follow someone around the entire store and not say a single word is just harassing me at that point. I was very tempted to toss my stuff and leave because it’s just flat out rude to not even ask me if I’m doing okay or finding everything alright but every single aisle I turn down he goes down.
