Absolutely amazing!! This is the most absurd thing I have ever been a part of. I am wondering exactly why it is that I was convinced to get a Red Card for free shipping and to save 5% online when I, in fact, can't use it!!
The account is set up to draft directly from my bank - which has money in it. I am sure that this will fall on DEAF ears since this will be the 5th time that I have tried to make an effort to GIVE you nearly $1500!!! Never in my life have I had an issue so devoid of common sense. My bank has money. You have a product I want. I want to give you my money for the product. And, even though I can use my debit card to buy plane tickets, cruises, cameras or even music. For some reason Target has to lock down my card so that I can't purchase the items I'd like.
And, I understand that Target wants to have more smaller purchases to "track" and to "build" a trend to "validate" that I have money to make a purchase. Whereas, in reality, I know that you just want to make sure that I buy a lot of things from you. Well, I haven't. I haven't not because I didn't want to but because I hadn't looked. And now, my wife has looked. She has found some things that she would like. And since I haven't bought enough from you using my card of "high enough dollar" I can't buy $1486 worth of things from you.
It is absurd. And, all it has done is moved me more to Amazon where they like money, and take my money. And, I'm okay with that.
Thanks for not helping. I can't believe that you can't run the card, ask for a check, offer another method of payment with similar discounts (5% off and free shipping). What is exactly the benefit of the Red Card, other than annoying me to the point that you are losing a customer? I guess though for a multi-million dollar company my little sale means nothing.
The problem with our country isn't sending jobs away. It's losing our sense of customer service. It's the last true product that we have. I wasn't offered a solution of any kind. I was only told NO. In fact, I was told I was declined - a phrase used for CREDIT, not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely go to Target, but my kids got gift cards and wanted to spend them. I was REALLY disappointed in the lack of selection there!
First of all, my fiance needs new shoes/boots so we went to that section. There were about 5 full aisles for women but only 1/2 aisle for men, and the selection was horrible (maybe 5 different styles, none we liked).
Next we moved on to the toy section. First of all, it was hard to find. We even had to ask an associate who pointed to the opposite side of the store. We went where he pointed and only found Halloween costumes. Then we finally discovered a small toy section up from there.
My kids had a hard time finding a toy they wanted for $25 or less, which is never the case! The one toy my son really wanted was a $30 set of Matchbox cars but he settled with Monopoly Star Wars, which they sell for $5 less online...? My daughter wanted a Barbie set but couldn't decide so finally bought a Cra-z-art Spa for $25, which they sell for the same price online.
I just don't get why people say Target is so great! The selection stinks, the prices aren't that great, and the setup is horrible! We'll stick with Walmart, thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe store is overall very messy. There is stuff shoved everywhere. The price tags were not aligned or even close to half the items I was looking at. My biggest problem is that I was trying to purchase 5 containers of formula, they are the VERY SMALL containers, not the large ones. I left at plenty on the shelf, at least 15. I looked for signs and there were no signs limiting what could be purchased. When I got to check out I was told that I had to put back some of the formula and that there was a limit. When I said there wasn't a sign she told me "people tear them off all the time so we don't worry about signs anymore" which is just insane. How would I have known? Thankfully the woman behind me helped me get the last one I needed but the cashier said that she wouldn't check out the woman behind me because she was trying to help me and made us wait for another employee who was able to check her out. Someone please put up signs if this is going to be an issue, not make a deal of it at checkout with only ONE...
