I shop here a LOT!!

You have to watch for expiration dates (some are past), but the prices are FAR better than regular stores. Typically, though MOST past expiration are STILL fine for SEVERAL more days. Just don't get it if you're "stocking up".

The only problem is that since they are a "clearance" store, you don't have the luxury of having the same items in stock on a regular basis, but if you're like MOST of us, the price is what matters.

Instead of 4 bags at $120 at other stores, I come out with SIX bags at $80. MORE than enough to last me a week (or more) for less than what I get for A FEW DAYS at other stores!

I've found a LOT of great deals there INCLUDING coffee (bags) for $1.99... But don't EXPECT that item you need to be that cheap AGAIN any time soon, since the price is all based on what they can get!! If it's something you can freeze (like the coffee) BUY IT UP so you don't have to pay $13 somewhere else later. Canned items are the same deal, they are generally fine long past the "best by" date so having a couple extra isn't a bad idea.

If you're like me and on a B U D G E T (SS) than this is the place to shop if you want to EAT at a price you can AFFORD.

You must try this store! I drive across town specifically with one thing in mind and that is to go to the United grocery outlet to see what deals I can find before I go to the regular grocery Store. Chapman hwy store needs to train their employees to speak, and be friendly to the customers. Was in Knoxville working for 3 days this week and went into the store both times the person at the checkout first time was a lady second time was a guy, neither one spoke they told me the total they didn't say thank you they didn't smile. Furthermore I bought eight ears of the tri-colored corn, I should have shucked it back to check if it was tri-colored sweet corn .
