I had a horrible experience. I was filling a prescription at the Kroger pharmacy and had some technical difficulties. This was not the fault of the Kroger pharmacy staff. But there are serious issues with their website. It took 4 hours to complete the transaction. Feeling frustrated I stepped outside three times to compose myself, look for a designated smoking area, and chill out before attempting to navigate the website again. All three times I was questioned by the same security guard. The first time I explained my situation that I was attempting to pick up prescription, that I too worked in retail and I understood he was just doing his job. Now I haven't shaved today, but I have showered and I'm wearing clean clothes. Not business attire, but I don't resemble a vagrant. Why was I questioned the second and a third time? Meanwhile, someone who did resemble a vagrant, appeared to be openly panhandling without a word from this security guard. In addition to the prescriptions, I made two other purchases. But I have nothing but disdain for the security guard. I would boycott this particular Kroger, but, I am poor and depend primarily on the city buses for transportation, so I have to shop where it's easily accessible. Instead I encourage everyone, whenever you have some free time, to linger and loiter outside the Kroger at Chapman square. And be sure to wear your...
Read moreWe had a knife pulled on us yesterday! I go and take my mom to the Kroger store there two or three times a month. I stop by a few times my self on the way to see her and without any exaggeration at least 90% of the time we are approached by someone asking for money. I have started carrying $5 in my visor each time we go just because we have hit on hard times ourselves before and we know its not easy. This time a girl half my age approached us asking for money, I had forgotten to put more money in the visor this time and only had my debit card. When I told her this she became angry and started to walk away, i heard a click! behind me and I know the sound of a knife being opened up. Sure enough she was coming at us with a knife, but we got lucky as she backed away when I pulled out the tire iron and started raising my voice getting attention in our direction. If you go to Chapman Square be safe and very attentive to your surroundings...

They're was a lady outside the store selling grilled however I think she worked for the Kroger and when I first introduced or she practically ignored me so I went on into the store. It is I was exiting I stopped by her send and she didn't even look up nor did she greet me just told me what her prices was and what she was selling that was it. I can tell you I was a little hungry but because of the way I was treated so nonchalantly...
