I went to this shop because they look like they do good work and had reviews saying they worked well with children. However, our experience didnât meet the standards. I took my son here to get his hair cut for school pics. As a mom I admit it was rough to understand a boyâs haircut. However, midway through the hair cut my son is squinting and it seemed like he was in pain, but trying to be good and sit still. Eventually he started crying and I was talking him through it saying it shouldnât hurt, he should only be cutting the hairâŚ. Fast forward to my sonâs dad going there as well and reporting back that it was a painful haircut and he even has a noticeable cut on his sideburn. He said it felt like the guy was DIGGING into his head with the clippers. So now I feel even worse that I wasnât understanding my sonâs pain. He listened to exactly what my son wanted (he keeps his hair on the longer side). My son said he was so personable and friendly, and made him feel comfortable the entire time!    Read moreToday was our second visit with Michael and instead of just one of my boys he cut both of their hair today. He does a phenomenal job and is very detail oriented with his cuts. You can tell they take pride in the work they do and Michael makes sure everything is right before you leave. My youngest had never been to a barber before and he felt so comfortable in the seat and having his hair cut. He even wanted a design! Both of my kids will definitely be coming to Michael...
