I really wanted to try this place! When doing so the service the food was the worst! I asked for mini tacos the meat tasted weird pastor and asada. Then i asked for a extra enchilada on the side😭 it was so HARD! I could not even cut into it. My kiddos the birria tacos which looked all right but again meat from that as well tasted weird. My husband the carne asada meal. All happy to get it, and the same. Apart from that he told the waitress this looks real good. She IGNORED HIM! Then no forks were given nor did she ask if we needed anything! I had to get up to get our silverware. No mind my 3 year old all happy like always telling her HI! And she just was so rude and didnt even acknowledge it! When order was taken it was in a rude way. Literally!! Again my baby said here you forgot a menu and she just snatches it! No she was not busy! When we got there we were the only ones! Then yes people start arriving after we have our food! And im not sure but this is a latino establishment and so you would think they would be fair with all!! Well the lady was NOT! The other people were not latinos and she treated them so kind! Which you expect to get treated in any place of business! I told my family lets just finish up and leave. And we can say we atleast tried another new place! Which we wont...
Read moreAbsolutely amazing experience! And we went through the drive-thru. They serve breakfast until 1:00 p.m. which is so rare. I got the huevos rancheros and it came with bacon, potatoes, beans and beautiful over easy eggs. The tortillas were definitely homemade! My husband got a large menudo which comes with cilantro, onion and lime and a barbacoa Taco on flower tortilla. That was amazing! They also have red and green sauce. The red is delicious. The green is a bit hot but not too bad. And the gentleman serving us was so kind. You could tell the food was being made fresh. So please do not go thinking you're going to be out of there in 3 to 5 minutes. It took us about 10 minutes for our order but it was piping hot. Let's keep this place alive and popular. This...
Read moreThis is one of the best small spots in Kyle. Perfect food, small-ish menu but in my opinion it makes it much more better rather than stumbling over flipping through several foods not knowing what to pick. The food is reasonably priced with the most expensive item being almost 20 dollars (which is a HUGE plate), and the cheapest being 3 dollars. The atmosphere is very chill and has a homey vibe. If you grew up more south down near the valley and in the Brownsville area it is similar to their classical cafes and taquerias. If you have a bigger party I recommend calling ahead of time to see if there is any way they can arrange enough seats and tables. I highly recommend, and I hope this place can continue to get the love it very much...
