Pizza Leon is really good. I have ordered their food more than enough to know whats really good (ex: pizza) and what is just eatable (ex: wings).
Service is really what makes me keep coming back to Pizza Leon. But, I am not sure who was in charge today 2/9 because after today I may not order from them again.
Placed an order online as usual. There are no delivery notes section to add to your order. So I always add them to the items. Literally every item I order. This is the section they should 10% check incase of any allergies. So, they should read them and always have until today.
In that section I specifically say call me because I cannot hear anyone knocking plus we live in a gated community and the gate may need to be opened remotely by me.
I never had an issue until today, they didn’t call, delivery driver then just left the food on the sidewalk, then called someone at their location and they called, I answered, they informed me delivery driver left, and put food at door. It’s whatever I don’t mind but then they forgot every sauce I ordered around $7 in extra sauce sides. I tried to call just for a refund I don’t expect them to deliver just sauces back to me. Called 2 times and nobody answered.
Is this going to be the new quality of service at Pizza Leon? I would love to know because if so I’ll simply order from one of the other dozen of pizza...
Read moreThis place is in the old Fox's Pizza Den location. When I heard there was another pizza joint coming to Kyle, I said to myself, "Seriously? Another pizza place?" I decided to give it a try after seeing all the 5 star reviews.
Having low expectations, I ordered via the Toast App, which made it simple. They told me it would be ready in 25 minutes, so drove over. The pizza was immediately ready when I walked in. Their menu is simple and not over complicated. I was told that they were a food truck and had moved into a "brick and mortar" building. I am always a big fan of small business owner's making the leap over to a brick and mortar building from a food truck.
The pizza was excellent. The sauce had a perfect taste to it. It was not too sweet and not over powering with "tang". There are too many pizza places that over season their sauce. The toppings were crisp and flavorful. They were not soggy like they had been sitting out or were overcooked. The crust had a good "chew" to it. I was told the crust was a sourdough base. Usually, Sourdough has a strong unique flavor to it. I could not tell with their crust.
The owner Neimah was working behind the counter. He mentioned he is still tweaking the menu to cater to his customers. He was very friendly and down to earth.
Way to go Pizza Leon! You...
Read moreWent there today expecting a 4.7 rating. Didn't get that sorry. I paid $30.00 for a small pizza and a margarita with a 20% top included, and expected a great experience. Didn't get served the margarita drink until 1/2 hour later. And the food thereafter. The pizza was better than average but for the price....expected a little more meat on my pizza or something. The drink was not a drink but an invented margarita which I asked salt with it initially and was never asked if I wanted salt on the rim. The cook apologized as he said they were just .... They only had a family of four in the restaurant. Sorry folks this place was overrated and the reason for the 2 stars. Spend $5.00 more somewhere else and get a better experience. This...
