Teapioca Lounge — Restaurant in Kyle

I have been in 3 times now in the past year. First time was a year ago, this last time was really bad and I won't go back.

The atmosphere is nice and very clean, which I was very impressed by. The one thing that was annoying is they have a giant jenga and when it tips the sound is amplified because the ceilings are high. So annoying and really rattles the ear.

The service odd because they're smiling to your face but catty when you're asking questions about how and what to order.

This last time, I watch this young lady re-make my drink and she didn't see me watching but I saw her straining my drink to re-use the boba. Now I wouldn't have had an issue with it if she used an actual strainer for food but she was using the one for straining stuff that goes down the sink. She turned around, saw me, then dropped my cup in the trash. Thank God I saw her and she saw that, so she used the other boba.

Which leads me to my next issue of their boba being gross. I have been to many boba establishments and this boba is fuzzy and chewy in a way that is just very undesirable.

It's sad because the place is very clean and well kept, however what is produced needs some attention where the boba is concerned and employees.

My daughter wasted her drink too, because it was bitter and I feel like this gal might be putting soap or some chemical in people's drinks because we both took a few sips and couldn't finish. Mine was a re-make and hers was a cream boba, which you would think would taste the opposite of bitter.

We’ve been going since their soft opening and love this place! Robert is very patient with his staff and customers. My wife has a special order drink that he didn’t shy away from working with her to perfect it. Dare I say, they did even better than Southpark. He remembered her drink when she went in yesterday and she made a huge order for the family. It’s a great place to meet and hang out if you want. The space is very clean and inviting, and they have a giant Jenga game you can play while you wait. The staff is friendly, and the variety of menu items is amazing. Even when we place large orders or they are busy they do a great job providing exactly what we ordered. Highly recommend for all of your thirst quenching needs! The staff was incredibly rude to me. The drink that i ordered was okay, but very watered down. The real problem was when they tried to charge me twice for something i ordered. I ordered 4 macaroons (which tasted smoky/almost burnt on the outside and incredibly doughy and gummy on the inside). Staff told me i didn’t oder one of the 4 and said they could charge me again for it even though I had proof that it was already paid for. I just left because it wasn’t worth arguing over a couple of bucks especially not with employees who are so poorly trained, incompetent, and rude. I will...
