This review is strictly related to the Pet Paradise Boarding Service, but due to our experience with that service we would NEVER use this location for any other service. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND as a boarding service. Worst experience weāve ever encountered, and weāve had great experiences with several boarding services in the area, including Firehouse Pet Resort in Kyle and Big Oaks Kennel in Buda. We unfortunately stopped by and took a tour and were impressed, however weāve since regretted that decision. Our very well cared for lab, treated on Sentinel Spectrum monthly, well known at our vet at Kyle Animal Hospital, stool tested annually and picked up daily at home SUDDENLY had worms in her stool 3 days after beginning a 10 day board while on our honeymoon OUT OF THE COUNTRY. After calling us OUT OF THE COUNTRY DEMANDING that we pick up our dog IMMEDIATELY, despite clear instructions that we were out of the country, they quarantined our dog for the remainder of the stay. We sent the āpictureā of the āwormā to our vet at Kyle Animal Hospital who could neither confirm nor deny that it actually was a worm, and felt it highly unlikely that our dog actually had worms. Regardless, our vet prescribed a broad spectrum dewormer which after administering should have allowed the quarantine to be lifted. Clearly, it was not. Clear evidence upon picking up our dog that she was NOT well cared for AT ALL. Our lovable, friendly and highly sociable reported pet at EVERY OTHER BOARDER LISTED was reported to not be sociable, uninterested and withdrawn. Normally upon pick up from boarding we see signs of overplaying with hip dysplasia, overjoyed to see us with one or two hot spots from anxiety due to the board. On this pick up we encountered a depressed, traumatized dog that simply wanted out of that place. The staff had notified us that they found ātwo hot spotsā on our dog, upon returning home we found SEVEN. The over the counter allergy and anxiety ābitesā we sent to help during the board with INSTRUCTIONS to give at signs of anxiety and or signs of allergies were returned unused. In fact, none of the multiple treats, tartar chews or bones were given the entire stay! Itās been almost two weeks since picking up our dog and weāre still dealing with an overly traumatized, depressed dog showing behavior changes Iāve never seen her exhibit. My dog is so well house trained that she WILL climb into the tub to use the bathroom if she canāt hold it. Sheās now peeing all over the house, including on the bed she sleeps on. Weāre absolutely heartbroken that we made an absolute ERROR in judgement trusting our pet to this place, and furious at the end result. In short, Pet Paradiseās business name is contradictory to the service received, and our vets and staff at Kyle Animal Hospital anre well aware of our experience. I also know the vets at Firehouse and other clinics in Kyle and Iāll be notifying them of our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently took my one-year-old Shiba Inu, Jax, to Pet Paradise Dog Daycare, and I couldnāt be more pleased with the experience. Jax is a happy, energetic dog, and Pet Paradise has proven to be the perfect place for him.
Highlights:
⢠Tiny Town Play Area: Jax absolutely loves the Tiny Town play area. Itās specifically designed for smaller dogs, providing a safe and fun environment where he can play and socialize with dogs his size. ⢠Ice Cream Treats: One of Jaxās favorite parts of the day is enjoying the special ice cream treats provided by the daycare. Itās a delightful way to cool down after playtime and adds a fun, special touch to his daycare experience. ⢠Friendly and Attentive Staff: The staff at Pet Paradise are fantastic. They are always friendly and attentive, ensuring that Jax is well taken care of and having a great time. Itās clear they genuinely care about the dogs in their care. ⢠Clean and Well-Maintained Facilities: The entire facility is clean and well-maintained, giving me peace of mind that Jax is in a safe and hygienic environment.
Overall, Pet Paradise has exceeded my expectations. Jax comes home happy and tired from a full day of fun and activities. I highly recommend Pet Paradise to any dog owner looking for a top-notch daycare experience for their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my first time leaving my dog here, and so far, itās been nice. I have a 20lb cockapoo staying in the tiny cabanas. My only concern is that the lights donāt seem to be turned off at night, which I find odd since most dogs, like mine, are used to sleeping in the dark. A dimmer could help make the space more comfortable and reduce light usage.
Other than that, the staff has been super sweet, the check-in process was simple, and I got a great tour on arrival. My dog seems to enjoy playtime, but Iād suggest adding some toys and ensuring dogs have outdoor access even when itās cold, especially for those that prefer not to potty indoors. Thanks for considering my feedbackāIāll review again once I pick up my pup!
Iāve picked up my dog and let me just say it was expensive and not worth it in my opinion. For two hours that my dog is taken out a day in which he stayed indoors and slept with the lights on, i paid over $200!! This is insane. Iām a student so this is hard for me to even comprehend. I was not informed that the weekends would be more expensive and they have $20 fee after 12 that again I was not informed if. This is unfair and unfortunately donāt plan on leaving my dog here. I will say he seems in great condition and happy, but overall...
