Pho With Us Kyle — Restaurant in Kyle

I just left there after a completely ruined lunch with my daughter. It was my first time trying this location and pho in general. Was great, until I found hair wrapped up in the noodles. I quietly advised my server, she apologized asked if wanted anything else to eat (definitely not) and I had my daughter check hers. I sat with an empty water cup the remainder of my mommy daughter lunch. She said owner would come speak to me, didn’t. Then handed me a 10% off business card for NEXT time. But it’s only valid on $50 or more. I tipped over 20% because as far as I know, she didn’t prep the noodles even though I feel she could have kept my water glass filled since that’s literally all I had (after the appetizer which was actually pretty good) but what started out very promising as my kids love it, turned bad, then worse. For an appetizer and just my daughter’s kid bowl and a sprite, $18.9x. I left $23 but that $50 minimum as a “please give us another chance to charge you $40” is not bad customer service for a kitchen issue. It’s a complete lack of customer service.

In response to the owner- you didn’t cover the cost of my meal, you removed the entree I only had literally less than 4 small bites of before I found hair tangled in the noodles, so something unsanitary to eat.

Update: went back (still here typing actually) Tried the pork belly Bao and a repeat of our last order. Manager even sent over an unexpected but delicious and appreciated appetizer. Alright Kyle neighbors! No need to look/ be on the hunt for good pho in neighboring towns! We now have THE BEST pho restaurant right around the corner! My husband and I stopped by to the soft opening at Pho With Us. We are big fans of their South Park Meadows location and boy are we glad to see them here in Klye!! From the minute you walk in you are welcomed with a beautiful interior and a nice sized bar. The food was exceptional! We got the Vietnamese fried pork egg rolls as an appetizer! (We ordered the dumpling sauce instead of the fish sauce to dip them in.) Omg... you have to order this. Literally my favorite appetizer and it's gluten free!! I got the Chicken Pho. It was full of flavor and huge portion size! My husband likes spicy food and chose the Pho With Us. It comes with a huge beef rib. ( Beef rib not pictured bc the hubby beat me to it 🤣) He says it's the best pho he's ever had. If you're wanting an alcoholic beverage they have Wine, Sake and beer available. I’ve visited and loved the Pho With Us location in Southpark Meadows so was delighted when these lovely ladies opened a second location in Kyle. The food is exactly the same incredibly high quality and delicious as the original. My only problem is trying to decide what to get. The Pho French Dip I had today may be something I’m stuck on for a real long while. It’s plenty big enough to split, the brisket is unreal tender, the baguette both crispy on the edge but with a soft crumb and the broth explodes with warming spices.I’m hungry just thinking about it again. The staff is friendly, efficient and the location itself is pretty. I’m always amazed when a restaurant can find a real vibe in a strip mall setting but these folks know just how to do it.
