My husband and I used them to cater our wedding and had both good and not so good things happen during our experience. We love going to 4 Sisters and really enjoy their food which is why we ultimately chose them as our wedding caterer after trying a couple other places. All of the guests we spoke with after dinner thought the food was delicious and it was served in a very timely manner. They also work really seamlessly with The Court Above Main which is where our reception was located, so that was really nice. There were a few things that added unnecessary stress just weeks before the wedding. When giving our final guest count and requesting the invoice to pay, I saw that our amount per plate was higher than our signed contract with them. When we questioned this we were met with “inflation” as the cause of our signed contract price changing. They “bartered” (their word) with us and we still ended up paying a higher amount per plate than we originally agreed to. I understand that inflation is a very real thing affecting businesses, but a contract is a contract. We also had some surprises like finding out that the salad dressing options we had initially picked were different now and this was never communicated to us whenever the change occurred. I would think if you change a policy that you would communicate to people you already have signed contracts with. Overall, I have a really neutral opinion about our experience. Our guests were pleased and would have never known of any hiccups with the catering. It was more the stress caused to us as well as additional & unforeseen costs that tainted our...
Read moreWe had 4 Sisters cater our August 2018 wedding and also worked with Traci and the team for much of our decor for our reception held at the La Crosse Center Ballroom. We cannot say enough great things about the entire experience working with 4 Sisters, from the initial planning stages to the day-of-service, from the food to the decorations! When I initially talked to Traci on the phone the summer before our wedding, she worked closely with us to come up with a Guatemalan-inspired cocktail hour menu to accompany their delicious dinner menu choices. The street tacos, homemade guac and sweet fried plantains were an absolute home-run for us and our guests! We are still getting compliments on how amazing the food was, including dinner, from our 200+ guests. Traci and the designer Brian also worked with us to make our vision of a "simple yet sparkly" reception come to life with gorgeous rose gold table runners, head table ruching and lights, and floating candles and vases. The space was just simply beautiful, and Corynn was on-site the day of to make sure everything looked perfect and ran smoothly. The 4 Sisters staff who served dinner were timely, friendly, and professional. I know without a doubt that part of the reason our day was so perfect is because of our decision to go with 4 Sisters for our catering and decorating needs. Everything from the product and service quality to the value/price to just the overall experience of working with Traci and her team was just wonderful. Will recommend highly to any brides and grooms looking for the perfect vendor for their big day! Thank you...
Read moreIf you are looking for an intimate venue for an event, do yourself a favor and book it here. I had my 30th birthday party here tonight, and I can’t sleep because I am elated with how it turned out! Jessica was an absolute pleasure to work with. The venue is the perfect size for a small, private party (we had about 50 people and still plenty of room). The price is extremely reasonable. The food was AMAZING! We have been talking about the Hawaiian bbq pork wonton tacos since we left the venue. Jessica did a fabulous job decorating with our theme of “red carpet” and even found glitter to put in our drinks! The fact that I didn’t have to do anything except coordinate the food and numbers with Jessica made this party that much more fun for me. Words fail right now in describing just how magical this night felt for me and how nice Jessica and the bartenders were. If I could have a party here every year, I would. Heck,...
