I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an unpleasant experience I had at your store , between 6:30 and 7:00 PM.
I took several pieces of clothing to try on, but was told by a staff member that I could only take six items into the fitting room and should return later to try the rest. I agreed and, after finishing the first round, returned to try on the remaining clothes. The staff member asked me to leave the items I wanted to keep aside, and I did so. However, when I came back after trying on the second batch, the first set of clothes I left behind was gone.
At that point, a different employee named Diana had taken over. When I asked her about the clothes, she responded rudely and said she didn’t know where they were. I asked if she could help me locate the previous staff member, but she dismissively told me to go look for her myself. I explained that I had spent over half an hour selecting and trying on clothes, and her response was simply, “That’s your problem.”
Her tone was unprofessional and disrespectful. When I asked for a manager, another employee told me there wasn’t one available. She also made no effort to assist me and later walked away from the customer line to chat with a coworker.
This experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I believe that staff members like Diana and Claudia are not suitable to represent your store. I urge you to take this complaint seriously and take appropriate action, including investigating the behavior of the employees involved and improving your customer...
Read moreWe went to Burlingt in La Mesa. was September 19, 2022 at 6:49 PM on a Monday. We bought 12 pieces in total. Our total came to 155.02. The cashier's name is Tanesha on the ninth register of our check-in record. She gave me six out of 12 pieces. Which means she kept six of them. We went home and looked for things, but couldn't find them, so we went back to Burlington. Tanisha came home so we were talking to the manager. We asked the manager if she could give us our items. She said she couldn't do anything about it because she didn't have access to the cameras and the person who wasn't around at the time. She told us to come back wednesday and she would be there. We went back there on Wednesday and she said, 'I'm sorry he's no longer here Thursday or Friday and will be here 100%. We called them today and spoke with the cashier and she said she put all 12 items in the bag. We asked the manager if she could give us our money back and she said she couldn't because they didn't check the cameras. They don't want to check the cameras nor refund our money. They basically...
Read moreI visited this Burlington store about two weeks ago at 10pm, and my experience was alarming to say the least. I witnessed multiple individuals blatantly robbing the store, with one man boldly walking out with six workout bags filled with merchandise. What shocked me the most was the indifference he displayed, simply lifting the stanchion and strolling past the helpless staff who looked visibly upset, who were also powerless to intervene.
This incident highlights a critical issue: the serious lack of adequate security measures at the store. It's unfair to subject working staff to such risks of harm from these thieves. The store should seriously consider closing much earlier to mitigate these dangers. Additionally, implementing security guards or installing panic buttons for immediate police response is imperative to ensure the safety of both customers and employees.
Overall, my experience at Burlington was disheartening, and urgent action is needed to address the security concerns plaguing this store, if not all stores...
