This was what my bed looked like upon checking in. Keep in mind that clearly the bed is made and ready for a guest. That means an employee made this bed, noticed the massive stain, and made the decision to use it anyway. I have been staying here every week as I travel for work. Putting up with the weird smells and the noisy guests. But this crime scene on my bed is the final straw. I will be paying the extra few bucks to stay elsewhere from here on out.

That place I cleaned up right before I checked out and I left the window open in the lady accuse me of smoking in the room and almost didn't want to give me my security back which is 75 bucks she had to call the manager to the room she was very rude and disrespectful and they told me I couldn't come back to the place I'm from LaPorte and I have rented many times off of them I suggest not to go there

A cost friendly and convenient place to stay! Near the lake, parks, services, stores, food options, and more. There is a dollar general very close. There is a breakfast option for guests. The room had comfy pillows and mattresses. The bathroom also included a vent fan, which is a plus for everyone when it’s needed.

Experience 1: When the manager/owner had seen that I had company with me, he waited until they exited the room and had asked to see their identification for no apparant reason. When I had asked him why he would do this he had said that I was the only one on the room, which was true because my company was tempory, but I was charged $10 per visitor so I had to pay and Extra $20 as they left. Upon check out he had went and checked the room before releaseing my deposit, understandable, he returned and everything was as should be, however....

Experience 2: A friend of mine was staying here and had asked if I could give them a ride. While Knocking on the door in the hallway the same manager/owner had seen me on camera. While my friend was finishing up getting ready the room phone rang and they were instructed to have me leave the hotel or they would be made to leave with no refund. I instead went to the front desk to find out what the issue was and was accused of stealing towels on my prior visit, I challenged this, noting that if this was so my deposit would never have been returned and that the room was visually inspected, as well as there had never been towels in the room when I first arrived though it was never reported because I never use hotel towels instead i carry my own. The front desk interupted me with bluntly calling me a ,iar and a thief!!? I trying to stay professional had asked them why it was that they never tried to contact me with information I had given when renting the room to notify me of this accusation or even let me know that I was forbidden to return. The response was "Stop talking and Leave immediately or Your friend is kicked out!"

Experience 3: My girlfriend had went to get a room the other night around 1am, She was told that she was told to leave immediately, long story short when asked why, she was accussed of stealing their towels on her last visit which was never with me.

The owner/manager is a permanent resident and from stories and information gathered from others who had had these experiences he searches everyone's name who rents a room and tries to find out who their company is to do the same. He denies service if you have ever had a criminal drug releated charge weather you were found guilty or if it was dismissed. He continuously reports "suspicious" activity which if you have anyone other then yourself, partner, and cbildren with you at any time, returning to your room at late hours, and coming to and from your room throughout the day!.....conclusion, if your are anything other then what he consides to be normal your being closly monitored and jiudged the moment you walk in and your arrival and departure times...

If there was an option to give negative stars then I would. Our power went out due to a storm and we waited until about 10 pm for it to turn back on but the house was getting too hot to keep my 3 year old and 7 month old children. Had to rent a room and put the kids to sleep as soon as we arrived since it was way past there bedtime.. didn't think we had to inspect the room. Didn't notice until the next morning after we opened blinds that my son was sleeping with a blanket that had not been cleaned and looked like bodily fluids. Had stains on the WHITE sheets.. huge stains on the comforter and smelled. The place had a weird smell altogether. A clean wash cloth looked like it had pubic hairs on it. The refrigerator/freezer was nasty. It looked like they didn't even vacuum as there were crumbs and unidentified substances on the carpet and on bathroom floor. After complaining, they gave us information to send to manager and we'd receive a call back by 3 pm. We sent pictures and explained everything and we didn't receive a call. I made the call after waiting and the "manager" (Tiffany) was stating there's nothing she could do and that we "made the choice." She stated that we should've looked over the room before purchasing and that she doesn't have time to listen because she's running a business and hung up on me! She was playing the victim and stating that she even gave us a room with an A/C unit (which I thought all the rooms supplied). Even asked for a partial refund just because of the fact that we didn't notice the unsanitary ways until the next morning and she was very unprofessional with her responses and didn't care about customer satisfaction or the fact that our infant and toddler were touching the unidentified substances that were on the sheets and blankets!! Customer service, from a "professional business," was the worst I had ever experienced!! This was my first experience at a Travel Lodge and it was a terrible first impression that I'll never book at...

Arrived around 9pm and only stayed because it was the only pet friendly hotel nearby. The area was sketchy. After booking at the lobby we drove around to the parking space (which parking space is small) to be close to our room. As we park there are 2, which were customers staying at the hotel, sitting outside smoking but clearly they looked rough (junkies). We make our way immediately inside our room. Standard rooms. Nothing special. Completely falling apart though for what they charged for the night. If it wasn’t because we needed this hotel for the night I wouldn’t have stayed. It says free wifi with no password required but it showed and it would not connect because it indeed required some password which I didn’t bother with in the end. Tv did not work even though it said connected to wifi nothing on it worked not even the apps available. At 2:20am the power goes off turning off the a.c which at this point is vital due to hot weather. I couldn’t sleep for a bit because of it. I started to freak out. 40 minutes waiting and nothing yet. Within that time I heard someone try to open our door. I later heard a couple in the hallway who seemed to have gone to the front seem to have ask about the issue. But it is unclear if that was so. The woman just said “it seems like its coming from down there.” I don’t know what she meant by that. The man walked around in the dark hallway bumping into room door knobs and making moaning noises and saying yeah daddy. It took a little over an hour for the power to come on. Breakfast was cold boiled eggs two for each person, yogurt, tiny muffins not homemade or anything, 2 cereal options, 2 juice options and two slices of nasty bread packaged in plastic bags I assume to limit it for...
