When I walked in the guy behing the counter was conversating with a lady there that was apparently just visiting. I asked if he or someone could help me with the free engine testing. He rudely replied that he cannot leave the store until his coworker returns. I asked if he knew how long it would be and his reply was. "i don't know, I'm not sure, he walked to the gas station." I told him I'd wait. So, after his coworker returns we all outside and he start a explaining to me that I shouldn't trust their machine the majority of the time it's wrong and I should just go to a mechanic. My reply was well how often are the reading wrong? He told me 95% of the time. I asked why they even did testing, to which, his reply was, "we just do this to keep up with competition."

Me, being a woman I felt uncomfortable from the start. The man was no help. He told me it threw off 10 codes and after asking for him to let me know what they were he only wrote down three. Waste of my time.

I went two blocks down to auto zone. They were very helpful. we're able to print out the codes and what they could possibly mean to give me a good...

I bought a car battery at the La Porte Texas store on Fairmount Pkwy. I paid for my purchase partially with a visa gift card and the rest on my credit card. I returned a few days later to turn in my old battery and get refunded the $18 plus tax for the core. They did the return and put the money on the gift card (which I no longer have because i used the remaing balance then threw the card away). After i realized I asked they put the refund on my credit card. They said there was nothing they could do, the transaction could not be voided. They were insistent the visa gift card was a bank card so there was nothing they could do. They said they refunded the money.....to a gift card i no longer have. It feels like Oriellys just stole $20 from me. Terrible customer service and i would rate less than 1...

There were a few people ahead of me and all I needed was a socket set to change out my Coolant Temp Sensor...(19mm deep well, btw)...I left my socket set at home and I'm traveling for work. The guy was informative to the people ahead of me and there was a lady who showed me where the tool sets were and advised on them based on price. If there were more stars I could give, I would! Specifically because of those 2 employees! Would recommend to ANYONE in the Laporte area (where I'm working right now) and also recommend to traveling workers who don't have time to shop around. They'll help you get what you want and check you out in less than...
