Unfortunately the pharmacy staff was of no help at all! My husband and I have been trying to get our little girl’s prescription since 10am and it is now 1:39pm yet we still don’t have her Rx. Morning hour my husband tried picking up Rx and was informed they could not find anything under our daughter’s information. Rx was sent the night before and confirmed it was received. The second time we returned to Walgreens the pharmacy employee had us call my daughter’s Physician to have them resend the Rx because she did not want to feel bothered or look for it through their system. Called her doctor’s office and had the nurses resend Rx. Third time around ,it’s already 1pm, I sent my husband to pick up Rx again and he was not given Rx because employee from pharmacy did not want to verify insurance provided. Stated she needed a specific number on the insurance card to be of use, physical insurance card was given to her. Husband came home again without our daughters Rx. Fourth time around, I go myself again, ask pharmacist for Rx, states she had already informed husband insurance card did not have what she needed to run the card. Asked if there was anyone else that could help because my daughter is in need of the medication. Turns to her actual Pharmacist, pharmacist informed her to note down the #attached to the insurance card, to call and ask for information needed. Pharmacy employee writes down the # hands me card and says “Sorry we’ll call after lunch, we’re fixing to go to lunch right now and will be back at 2pm”. Daughter’s Physician had strictly informed us she was to take Rx in the morning and here we are 1:50pm and no Rx because the lack of professionalism at the pharmacy. A complaint was given to store manager. Did receive a call shortly after leaving from pharmacy informing me they had giving us a discount and medication will be ready after 2. I do not need a discount, we have insurance card for use. All is asked for is professionalism, a good customer service, and good patient care! There is a lack of staff training in the pharmacy department and loss of education. Had to call my daughter’s Physician office again and changed the Rx to a different pharmacy. Read moreThe worst experience I’ve ever had at a Pharmacy. I didn’t get the girls name at the counter but she has I believe blue or green in her hair. We took my husbands Rx there after leaving the dental office. She acted like we were inconveniencing her when asking the cost of the Rx’s with our insurance & appx how long it would take. She had an attitude of entitlement & just arrogant. She told us appx 45 min for them to be ready, this was at 12:45 pm. We left & went home to wait since we were only appx 5 min bottles from home. We get back there at 1:45 & go to the drive thru ring the phone & nobody ever answers so we park & go in only to be told the Pharmacy closes for lunch 1-2 pm daily. Why could she have not told us this when we were there? He goes back in a little after 2 & still had to wait almost 20 minutes after saying it would be ready in the next 10 minutes. We don’t normally use Walgreens but it was kind of an emergency & they were close but today will be the one & only time for us!! Horrible horrible customer service. Read moreAfter going through cancer at 35 I have had many surgeries to try to get back to my every day life. I recently had to to deal with physical therapy and orthodontic surgery. The day of my extensive and painful orthodontic surgery Walgreens decided they would not give my prescription that my Endodontist had sent in to get through the pain. I have had years of surgeries and had to take many many medications, that I DO not want to take. I want my life back and I want this all to be over. But chemo, radiation, mastectomy and now the pain of physical therapy and oral surgery from what cancer did to me, or should I say I did to fight to get my life back. I trusted in and turned to Walgreens. But I have had enough of jumping through their hoops I have enough battles to fight daily. I will be moving all of mine and my husband’s prescriptions.
