I apologize now for this being so long but I need to explain the whole scenario.
I live about 30 minutes away and have been waiting for a chance to check it out. I specifically made time to get out there for the advertised $9.99 boots. The ad I received in my mail and the SIGNS IN RHE STORE BY THE BOOTS showed pictures of 3 different styles of boots for $9.99 each. I bought 2 of each style for a total of 6 pairs. They werent very good quality and were more like slippers but I thought for $9.99, even if I got a month out of each pair, it would be worth the cost. After I got home, I looked over my receipt and realized I was charged $14.99 each pair of boots. I tried calling Ollies all night to see if I was overcharged or if I just chose the wrong boots. I dont see how I chose the wrong boots, though, when the signs showed the exact boots I bought. The phone would ring and ring and finally just hang up. After calling every few minutes for over 6 hours til they closed with no answer, I gave up and decided to return all the boots but the pair I wore for an hour before I headed back home to change out of them because my feet were killing me and cold. These are definetly slippers, NOT BOOTS!!!! When I returned the boots, I explained to cashier what happened and she gave me no response. She didnt tell me if I was overcharged or picked the wrong boots or anything. She just grabbed my receipt and started the return. The only reason she even talked to me was because I asked her if we could do my purchase and my return at the same time since I was purchasing just about the same amount that I was returning. She just answered no. I asked why and told her that I didnt want to make a purchase PLUS have to wait a few days to get my refund money on my debit card and have double the money tied up. She just told me they dont do it like that anymore and told me to swipe my card. That was FOUR DAYS AGO AND STILL NO SIGN OF MY $65 REFUND!!!!! MY 2ND PURCHASE SURE DID SHOW UP RIGHT AWAY, THOUGH!!!!! NOW, WHY COULDNT I J HAVE JUST EVENED OUT BY RETURNING AND PURCHASING AT THE SAME TIME?!?!. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A STORE NOT BEING ABLE TO DO IT LIKE THAT!!!! And, I noticed today, the bottom of the receipt says refunds may take 10 days to show up. TEN DAYS?!?!? IVE HEARD OF 5 DAYS BUT 10?!?!? With the false advertising, poor quality boots, rude 2nd cashier, no one answering the phone to a customer and HORRIBLE RETURN POLICY, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE AGAIN!!!! TOO MANY OTHER CHOICES WHERE I DONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH STUFF...

No greeting whatsoever , just asked for My Phone Number. She was completely nice to the customers in front of me… (people not of color) But when it was my turn, it was completely Different. She refused to bag any of my items saying it would not fit In a bag,But after bagging all of my items Myself, everything fit in a bag. She had an issue with me, turning the card, reader Over to pay for my items. It’s like she wanted to be in control of the situation so bad. Then she tried to fight with me and say she handed me a receipt and she did not … She slammed her hands on the counter when I asked her for a reprint because she never handed it to me in the first place .So unprofessional, tasteless and classless. Better items, but I have noticed pricing has gone up (just like a lot of other places) I wish though that this wasn't the case for Ollie's because of the fact that it's suppose to be a bargain outlet and almost everything I was looking at was just about the same price normal stores were at. A bunch of different items I had also noticed were priced a little high for being expired already as well. Overall I am not usually disappointed with Ollie's, I just hadn't been in a while and I did not buy that much due to being able to get the items I was looking at at another store at about the same price.
