Daiso - Japanese Household Goods — Local services in La Quinta

This Daiso store, in specific, is okay. It has kitchen appliances, camping supplies, office supplies, beauty and makeup, as well as snacks and so many other things. I will say it was a bit crowded, and the cashier seemed a bit stressed. Other than that, the prices are somewhat mismatched. Some items are missing a price, which I was told would be $2.50 according to the chart. Some other items were priced at ¥700 which came out $11.50, but when I went to check-out, everything was sold at $2.25 per item. 👀😂 not mad, but...

Save your time and go to Calexico or Menifee the other closest locations! The Customer service at this specific location is lacking and could use lots of improvement. The manger looks like she doesn’t know what she’s doing and appears to be stressing out her only cashier on a Thursday. The shelfs for food and drinks are empty and overall the store looks light. I specifically came for bread which was no where to be found unlike the other locations that always have multiple flavors in stock. I’ll be waiting for...

This was our first time shopping at a Daiso store. When we visited around noon, the store was on the busier side. They had one register and one self check out open. The cashier moved the line along quickly and she was friendly. My teen found quite a few things that she wanted. Our only complaint and reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is the fact that the shelves weren't very well stocked. There were a lot of empty spaces on the shelves.
