Pokehana is an interesting higher end concept of making your own Japanese bowl a la carte. You pick your rice, protein, vegies, sauces, toppings, etc...all with strong Asian flavors so they all blend together exceptionally well. (Basically you can't go wrong regardless of your selections.)

The ingredients were clearly fresh and perfect for a Sushi type bowl (I had the Salmon and Ahi tuna)...the rice spot on. The addons (edamame, garlic aioli, seaweed salad) also were absolutely delicious!

The service was exceptional from an experienced, very pleasant and congenial hostess who provided her recommendations on what to try that I took, as I am prone to try what is recommended to me! (most of the time)

While I probably couldn't have it every day, as looks are deceiving in that it is really a lot of food packed into one bowl, for an occasional change of pace for something unique and favorable...I would say to totally...

I love the food but I can't justify giving them anything more than 1 stars. Today was the second time I've had to pay out of pocket when I shouldn't have. First off, they're knowing selling gift cards that cannot be redeemed because they're system is "down" and their gift card system is ridiculous. You can't even use it to purchase a bowl through their own website. And they don't tell you until you're at the register with your bowl already made. Second, their app clearly states that you get a free bowl at 150 pts but when you try to redeem that in store they say it's 160pts for a free bowl. No one there can help with it, it has to go through the owners, whom are non existent. This really shouldn't be allowed. They're stealing people's money, especially with the...

Consistently some of the worst customer service in the valley. If it's not the angsty teenager in Palm Desert that avoids eye contact and communicating with you at all costs, it's the La Quinta location that has messed up our orders three out of three times. Their online ordering is a joke. 1 - They only start making it once you get there. I had to wait 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time to receive my order. Twice. 2 - They charge you EXTRA to order online. 3 -The employees won't scan the rewards app if you order online. 4 - They always screw up the order and forget toppings. Ordering online costs more, it's slower, it's wrong, and there's no rewards. In summary: We can't wait for Haus of Poke to open...

After hiking in the morning, we decided we wanna to stop at this place before we went shopping at Costco. I’m a huge fan of poke and so I’ve been looking forward to stopping there for a while and it did not disappoint. I had a large bowl custom-made, which gave you three scoops of a protein, and my wife had the smaller regular one which gives you two scoops. The main difference is you get one extra scoop for two extra dollars. The person that prepared, our meal couldn’t have been nicer and did a fantastic job. And the food itself was excellent. Would definitely go again.

My friends and I waited for Pokéhana's opening with so much anticipation. When they finally did, they definitely did not disappoint. Their food is fresh and the proportions will fill you up in no time. I love the variety and their sauces are just so good! Also, their drinks are a plus, but their desserts are literally the icing on the cake (rain drop cakes, mochi, and macaron ice cream <3). The owners and workers are super patient and really nice. The whole restaurant itself has a chill atmosphere and everything is really clean too!

This review is based on the Tuna Hana with rice at the Palm Desert location. Kinda underwhelming when you look at the size of the bowl, amount of product vs the price paid. I wish it would have been 1/3 larger. The bowl had about 10-12 quarter inch sized cubes of poke tuna fish, a healthy dollop of avocado and imitation crab with slices of cucumber and edamame beans. Taste was good, and service was fast.
