10/2/22 update: not so happy with our sleep number experience now that we have had our bed for 9 months. Around 6 months of owning our 360 adjustable/split base and mattress, we started to experience several concerning glitches or problems between the sleep number app and base. The very first glitch started within a month or so of owning the bed, the under bed light would flash at night...very distracting and annoying while trying to sleep. Eventually there was a fix for this with an software update, but we were told to put some black electrical tape over the light if it was bothering us. The latest issues: include the foot warmer coming on, on it's own every day, the app stalling/not working, part of the foot of the base inclines on his own when we are not using the bed, only on the left side and the app being completing worthless/not working unless we unplug the bed. Unplugging the bed to reset this base is now a daily occurrence to get the base to work. We problemed solved with customer service during several very long phone calls (due to wait times) and were told that we need a remote that we were never sold and it was on back order. A month later the remoted arrived and we have attempted about 4 phone calls to the warranty company, as Sleep Number does not manage the warranty on the 360 adjustable base. Very long wait times, I mean long....with no progress on the wait times despite being on hold for hours at a time. I have left my phone number for someone to call me and no call backs. I have been told repeatedly by Sleep Number customer service and this 3rd party manufacturer, they will not send out a service technician until we attempt a manufactory resent, using the remote. I have been trying to call for the instructions to attempt this magical reset and can't get anyone to answer now. We just want what we paid for and for our $10k bed to work. Sharing with you all so that you know once Sleep Number's very short warranty period is over for the adjustable base, you are on your own with a company who has very very poor customer service. I have complained and complained and no progress other than we own a nice remote to run our bed that barely works...and when it works we have to continually unplug the bed to reset this damn thing. There is no sense of urgency to address this from anyone I have talked to, they do not seem to care that we are unhappy with their products.

Read moreWe purchased once of the top of the line mattress from the Sleep Number in Lacey, Wa. We were told during the sale they would pick up the mattress and old bed frame. When the installation guys show up i was informed they could only take the mattress, that the client is responsible for disposal of the old bed frame. I informed him the sales agent said both would be picked up and asked if Sleep Number planned to not honor the agreements they made. I was told they couldn't. I expect a company to follow through on their promises when making a $10K purchase. I ended up cutting up the bed frame which the delivery guy had the audacity to state "you're making quick work of that." I should never have had to make quick work out of a service Sleep Number agreed to provide. Long story short after they refused to take the bedframe or rectify the situation, i told them to get out of my house and off the property. I ended up having to cut it up and haul it to the dump. If your looking for a Mattress in the Lacey / Olympia area i would avoid the Lacey Sleep Number location. The Lacey location will say anything to make a sale then refer you to the fine print when they don't plan to honor the verbal...
Read moreAfter seeing the sleep number bed on sale on their website, we wanted to come to our local store to see them in person. Not only was Ashley incredibly helpful with the questions we had she was also super patient with our 3 little girls. We were given plenty of time to lie down on the beds for an extended period of time without being interrupted by sales associates. When the time came for us to do our purchase transaction, one of the other associates offered our girls a little ball to play with to keep their attention while we were busy. The store wasn't very busy but every person who walked in was greeted and asked if they needed help finding anything. We were informed that our bed could take a couple weeks to arrive and we went about our way. Much to our surprise we got a shipping notification 3 days after purchase and our bed arrived the following day. Ashley called the day after the bed arrived to check in and see if we had any questions. We will certainly be back to this retailer who obviously has concern for their customers and values their product! Thanks sleep...
