I just moved out after living here for 1 year and I have to say Iāll miss this ole place. Itās been long time since I rented a regular commercial apartment, and this was a really good experience for me. At first I wanted to cancel my lease because I thought the studio apartment was going to be too small, but things turned out that I really liked it. The benefits of small space is there is less to clean and everything is right there in one room! Yes, per square foot it is a little more expensive than other places, but for me it was worth it. I lived in the middle on the 4th floor. I must of been lucky because I never had an issue with noise. We had some dogs down the hall, but I never heard them. There is a Hot Dog Restaurant on the 1st floor, and they do have live music from time to time. But I would say if that noise is going to be an issue for you, donāt pick an apartment close to that place. As far as safety is concerned yes it is close to ādowntown Laceyā and the Fred Meyer shopping complex where some homeless folks tend to congregate. But the apartment is far enough away, I never saw any homeless around the building, and my car was never broken into. Honestly I feel safer here than Downtown or West Olympia. When picking a room ask to see a few, and pay attention to the main window setup in the studios. Some are sliding doors, some are French doors with no screen, some have just side opening windows. Iām glad I got one with sliding door so it was easier to put the floor air conditioning duct in there. Oh yes, for sure in the summer you will need a little floor A/C Unit, it can get pretty hot in there. Winter they have the Cadet wall heater fans and they work really good. The appliances are really nice I had all stainless steel facing stove, refridge, dishwasher, and microwave. I had a stacked front loader Washer and Dryer, Beko brand they are little smaller than full size in the studio. The apartment has an electronic card entry into the main hallways and regular key to get into your room. There is a mail room down stairs, and separate electronic keyed package room. They have a small gym, pool table room, library, and outside courtyard with BBQ that you can use. They have community events every month like ice cream get togethers, and potlucks, and every Friday there is donuts in the Lobby. The location is great, right off I-5, but far away enough so there is no highway noise. It is close to all the Lacey shopping and dining places, and there is a city park just walking distance away. . They also just opened (Aug 2025) a new 40 unit building just down the street . That one includes floor A/C units in each unit which is nice! The management staff is great! There is always someone in the office, and they get back to you by email in a timely manner. Desirae, and Blanca are great and very friendly. Davey and his team on maintenance and cleaning are great too. Overall I would say The Hub is a good commercial apartment complex and Iām happy I...

first of all this place is crazy pricey for what you get. I know that the whole building is new but it is not worth the price and this is whyā¦
parking: when signing on the lease the leasing office said we could pay for permit parking for an additional $30 a month per car or we can park ājust across the street for free.ā Obviously the cheaper option was, in their exact words ājust across the street.ā So I go to park after signing my lese and their āacross the streetā parking is half a mile away next to the bus station where lots of homeless people like to camp and as someone who gets off work at 1am Iām not walking half a mile in the dark. Then when you want parking thereās not evough spaces. Who makes a complex without providing enough parking. On top of that I was towed after parking for 20min. Thatās right there were PLENTY of spots open and I just came home to eat real quick and walk my dog and I get towed after 20 min. Theyāre like grown up hall monitors
military: thereās three of us living in a two bedroom apartment and 2 of which are active duty army. About a week or two after we signed our lease we found the listing for this place on Facebook and saw they were offering military discount. We did not see it before nor did they inform us they were offering it so when we asked about it to help lower our crazy priced rent they just said no and that maybe it will be available when we re-sign the lease. Thank for letting us know after we sign the lease great
the garbage: I live in the back of the building and the garbage truck always comes every few days at 7 in the morning which is so annoying and always wakes and keeps me up considering I work so late. And if you live in the front of the building then the restaurant in the building blasts music and keeps you up late too so really the only way to get quiet is the middle of the building but expect the crazy thin walls they got here
small things: shared package room makes it easy for things to get stolen, the parking spots they do have are compact so good luck parking any vehicle not a tiny car if you can even park here, prepared to be mislead by the office ladies when signing, the elevators always smell so bad too
Anyways every place has their quirks but for what you pay here it is not worth it at all. Do yourself a favor and either find somewhere cheaper or find any other place if possible in the price range because all you get from this place is an empty wallet...
Ā Ā Ā Read more[I know this is long but if your genuinely considering moving in here please read cause i wish i wouldāve seen more reviews speaking on this prior to me moving]
So iāve been debating on writing this review for a while now but the issue has gotten so bad that i want to make others aware before they get stuck here like i did. I wanna start by saying donāt be fouled by all the 5 star reviews on here, the company is having his employees write 5 star reviews to make the place look good, you can see the names of the people working here and the owners thanking them like normal tenants so who knows if all the other 5 star reviews are true or just other employees/friends I will say these places are pretty nice there are good aspects to the place BUT if you enjoy relaxing in your home this might now be the place for you. Iāve had to move units once due to noise and the unit i moved into was perfect until they moved 2 new neighbors on both sides of me. If you want to be able to hear your neighbors talking, listen to your neighbors tv/music, hear you neighbors walking all day NOT only above but the sides of you, be able to hear every little movement your neighbor does then please move in here! I had the pleasure w meeting someone who built these places and found out when they ran a sound test when the apartments were first built they claimed it āpassedā but i was told by the builder you could easily hear the music being played in the unit adjacent. If noise isnāt and issue to you then these places are great, but if you enjoy coming home after a long day at work and relaxing or just having a day to yourself please donāt burden yourself w moving in to The Hub! Iāve met so many great people living here and i canāt express to you the amount of conversations iāve had here about people dealing with the exact same situation and plan on leaving.
I would also like to say i have NEVER in my life seen a turnover rate in apartments the way i have here. Almost anytime i speak to someone here there moving out due to the multiple dif issues and on a daily thereās a moving tuck out side itās insane. Iād take that into consideration why is there constantly new units open and why are people...
