I went here to shop for my honeymoon and one of the girls was very helpful. The brunette woman was rude. I donât leave reviews often but this warranted one. I have a hard time finding swimsuits that fit me right up top. I have a small frame. I tried on a few to see how they fit and was having a hard time. The girl helped me and recommended a few. The brunette older woman looked irritated that I was there. The blonde girl asked her if they had the bottoms I was holding in a different style for me. (She thought she had seen them on sale before) and the brunette kept saying âno, that suit is not on saleâ (clearly thinking little old me was looking for a deal) which is not what we were asking, I just didnât like the style of the bottoms they fit awkwardly and was looking for a different style. Finally she says âwell may as well look in sale for them âafter all that workââ referencing that they had to put the suits back I tried on. I hung them exactly how they were given to me! I am always respectful and kind to workers because I have worked retail before. Shameful comment in my opinion, I was already feeling vulnerable trying on swimsuits for the first time in 2 years. Clearly she assumed I wouldnât be buying anything which is funny because I was ready to ball out for my honeymoon. Will NOT be coming back. Itâs always confusing to me why anyone would be needlessly rude and judgy to a customer. Want more money? Feel like everyone is just looking and no one buys anything? Maybe if you were nicer and more supportive of your customers, more people would feel comfortable in your store and feel better in your suits. I donât leave reviews but it really ruined my day. Would have left one star if it wasnât for the young girl who was nice. The brunette woman may like fashion but she should not be working with customers she clearly finds no joy in it. She seems to, if anything, resent her customers. Find a different place to work girl! If hanging up a few suits is too hard, maybe you should get a desk job. I will tell all my friends not...
Read moreI somewhat love shopping here. Iâve been shopping here since I was 11 because my mother used to work close by. I am now almost 23. The clothing is very cute and trendy. I have an issue with the staff. Every time I walk in, Iâm ignored, and no one greets me. I am very respectful and stay to myself when shopping in here. I have never caused any issues. There are two older grown women that work in there one is blonde, one is brunette. Iâve never had an issue with the brunette. The blonde is very snooty and rude along with some of the other young ladies that work in there. The blonde wants to make sure that you KNOW everything is âvery expensiveâ. Yes I am aware this is a designer boutique. I wear free people when Iâm walking in which is one of the brands they sell on the store. Then proceeds to ask you and your friends what school they came from to act like theyâre better if you give the wrong answer. I shut her up by telling her I went to Parsons the new school in New York City. We are all in our 20s at some point in our lifeâs please do not try one up myself and my friends when shopping...
Read moreI have been shopping at Splash for over a year. It is well-known in St. Louis that the clothes are great and the customer service is sub-par. However, I experienced a new level of horrendous customer service yesterday. I attempted to return a lounge set nine days after purchasing it. I tried it on at home before making the decision to return. The elderly blonde sales associate refused to accept my return after wrongfully accusing me of detaching tags and wearing the set. She was extremely rude and told me the set âreekedâ of perfume. She proceeded to examine the plastic part of the tags and told me I bent them to remove the paper. After arguing back and forth, she wrote all over my receipt âdo not allow returnâ. The way they treat their customers is a shame and I would not recommend...
