As an Gold Honors member and military member making my way to my new duty station from the west coast, I’ve had my share of stays at Hilton owned hotels and this has been the worst experience I’ve had during my official travel. Let’s start with my dirty suite, the floor was sticky and my shower was dirty, a bar of old soap was still in the shower, along with hairs from who knows where (disgusting). They only have two luggage trolleys so if you have an actual need for one, you have to wait until one becomes available. For a hotel this size they should definitely have more than two and the two they have are very difficult to maneuver. The light was always out at the smoking area behind the building, which poses a security and safety concern. The parking is absolute trash and they do not honor late check out for gold honor members, also …trash. As for the staff, there were always a group of female employees standing at the front desk having a gossip session, trash first impression when you walk through the doors. The food service employees were very kind and the male clerk who works the late night shift was very helpful and made my check in process smooth, especially since I checked in so late.

Great experience with the elevators(very fast and reliable)& the fitness center was very nice. The location is great too. But there are other options in the area , I recommend checking those out first. This stay wasn’t worth the points Edit: To add to this bad experience they charged me for a late check out fee (I did not check out late and if I did I’m a gold honors member , isn’t that part of my benefits?!) and charged me a double pet fee. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS, they do bad...

I’m a gold member that almost exclusively stays at Hampton Inns, and this is the worst experience I've had from a generally consistent brand of hotels.

Upon check in, I had to wait a few minutes to get acknowledged and receive service. A man was restocking the waters while I waited and the manager on duty was just hanging out in their office. Funny enough I still didn’t receive a water for being an honors member.

After returning back from my evening plans, I was going to stop by to get an extra pillow and water bottles but after waiting for multiple minutes, no one showed up. Not sure what the front desk staff is doing at this location.

Once getting into the room, I continued to be underwhelmed. The tub had a soft spot that was brown and water would collect. There was a puddle in there when I arrived, and used towel hanging on the back of the door. Also, there is a solid inch gap between the floor and the door that shines light through and allows all hallway noise into the room. Despite being in a more boring/quiet side of town, I heard more disruptive noise in my room than most places because of this.

The breakfast is fine, nothing better or worse than any other Hampton…but both of the coffee dispensers were completely out which kind of just continued the theme of service, or...

Not a great review but a few redeeming things at the end. So hair on bathroom floor, toilet wasn’t very clean, needed to be vacuumed, something dripping down closet mirror, and something gross on the bed spread. We were in a hurry to get ready for a business dinner so just told the front desk to please clean it while we were gone. They changed the bedspread, nothing else. Then at midnight was awakened to the smell of very strong cigarette smoke. I should have called that night because it was bad and went on for two hours. Housekeeping cleaned up a little better the next day. Might have been the tip we left. We told the front desk someone was smoking The night before. She jotted down our floor. Not our room # which I thought was weird. At midnight that night, super strong cigarette smoke again. Did call front desk. They said they’d come walk the floor. I saw him go by but I guess didn’t figure out where it was coming from because smelled like smoke for two hours. It was crazy how strong it was! Breakfast was neat and a nice selection. Coffee bar always set up is a bonus. Great location. ...

Room # 221 was some what creepy, maybe because it is located at the very far end, in a corner behind a wall. I requested for daily housekeeping service, but they never came. I had to re-request housekeeping service again on Wednesday morning and then they finally came to do housekeeping on Wednesday. Thursday was weird. Somebody had come in to room 221, but not sure why? because they left a shoe print on the white towel in the bathroom floor, and they had twisted the head shower 🚿 to the side. However, they did not clean the room. That was weird. Totally NOT a pleasant stay at all. Totally in the opposite feeling from the previous stay last Sept 2022. I had also requested to replace the bulb in one of the lights by the bed, and they did not replace it. I had to re-request it again before they come and changed the bulb. Totally NOT a pleasant stay this time. Weird.

Nice place if you are used to standard faire major chain. Very clean, nice workout and pool area. Super helpful staff. We accidentally(car navigation) went to the WRONG Hampton, and they cancelled my other stay with no penalty, and honored my other (forest park) rate even though it was cheaper. Breakfast was nice, quiet, several coffee options. Standard continental breakfast with the waffle/oatmeal/fruit/pastries/juice. Nice option in Clayton area for 110-120 range!! Only complaint is that the door locks are loud as hell. You can hear people exiting their rooms halfway down the hall. Plus you can’t shut the door in the room without waking everyone else up in the room... or the rooms around you. It’s THAT loud.
