Bad management and customer service at Lady Lake Kohl's. I will be taking a break from Kohl's this year after the horrible treatment I received at the customer service counter regarding my Kohl's cash. First of all, I have never asked to use my Kohl's cash after it has expired. I either use it or throw it in the trash. This year for Christmas I spent well over 1000.00 and shopped for my entire family at Kohl's and earned several coupons for Kohl's cash, totaling around 60.00. I was not able to redeem them during the set period and was told that if you go to the customer service counter that sometimes if you explain why you couldn't use them the manager will give you an extension on them or make them usable somehow. So I went to the service counter, for a return and to ask about the coupons, and that horrible woman took the coupons and ripped them up and threw them in the trash, said they were only good until Jan 1, 2025. Just ripped them right up and threw them in the garbage and looked completely satisfied with herself. I made her dig them out of the trash, which she did with attitude, and I asked another employee to get her manager. The manager showed up, pieced them all together, and then said that she would not honor them because they were 1 week past expiration. This store is already very slow and this is the thanks I get for being a loyal customer, a smack in the face. I was so disappointed that I threw the return voucher for the item I returned in the garbage along with the torn up Kohl's cash, apparently they need the money more then me. I did explain to the manager that I wasn't able to come in because my family was sick that week and she told me I should have used the Kohl's cash online. I am so extremely disappointed in the Lady Lake Kohl's store. Absolutely no heart in their customer...
Read moreI am very disappointed with the customer service at this store by the manger STACY. I have been shopping at kohls for 10 years have a Kohls charge card and never had such a bad experience. After reading the recent reviews this store clearly needs coaching from corporate. My interaction was with the manager Stacy. My son founds these sneakers with the price showing at $30.00 at the register it was $54 I took the display, the manger said no it was an error after walking over to the shoes and that it was for a different brand. Ok so I was like fine if they won’t honor the tag I’ll go back and find another pair. I go back within 2 minutes they put another display on the same shoes with the same tag for $30 with the brand name so I go back to register with the shoes and tag to a different lady she’s calls Stacy back and Stacy stays silent looking at her phone searching we ask her where the shoes were and she wouldn’t answer. Then she says oh it’s these other shoes on sale I explained to her how the tag was put back up within 5 minutes by the shoe manager and she claimed it wasn’t one of her employees so she can’t honor it. Which is not true it was definitely an employee who put that back up I asked her to check the cameras and she refused. I hope the owner will check the cameras and coach Stacy. The date is 4-28-23 7:29 is on the receipt for other items I got so this happened between 7:20-7:35 pm. At the lady lake store. I also recorded the conversation with her. Honestly I felt like she wanted the shoes for herself as the size we wanted disappeared and she wouldn’t respond to me or the other cashier as to where she put them. And I also feel like this is why people stop shopping at Kohls. All the recent reviews are negative clearly due...
Read moreThe store itself is fine and clean but checking out and/or making returns is incredibly slow. It took 10-15 minutes both times I had to return/exchange and both times only 1 person was ahead of me. The customer in front of me waited at the counter for at least 5-6 minutes before the employee returned from the back and I waited several minutes when I got to the counter as well. Every time I have gone through checkout it's been an insanely long line as well, extending back into the clothing sections.
What I am more so bothered by is with my recent exchange I offered to put the item in the bag I brought the exchange item in with (reusable Publix bag) or in the same bag my online order was packaged in (a plastic kohls bag) and the associate refused to let me use either and instead put my 1 small item item into a new, XL sized plastic bag because "you're taking a kohls item out so it needs to go in a kohls bag". The online order pickup was literally in the same, smaller, gray kohls bag just with a sticker on it with my order number and name. Ridiculous and wasteful for no...
