After seeing all the good reviews about Alex I had made a appointment with him, I came in he was running behind no big deal I waited 20 minutes, my turn is up & I am soaking my nails & looking for a color (I get dip) after I find my color he starts to get my nails ready as in files them & gets them to my shape it was going good I was pleased then they had a younger lady come next to him & sit as if she’s learning and is new I greet her and say hi I remember you from another nail place even though I never had her do my nails I was just acknowledging her, Alex said she can do my nails he’s busy I was in shock it happened so fast he got up just to go be the receptionist, even though there’s a young girl at the front, I was saying to the lady that was doing my nails how unprofessional that was I had called here for Alex to do my work since I saw the reviews so it became a whole issue because I brought my feelings up to them because I was there for 2 hours when everyone knows that getting their nails done should take about a hour. He wouldn’t leave me alone after I brought up how unprofessional & upset I was… he had a excuse saying he doesn’t really do DIP nails like what? Made no sense with me & why argue with a customer? All I wanted was his work & I didn’t get it I paid for bad service & terrible quality nails. Nails broke off less than a week they couldn’t do all the steps for my nails because they were to worried about being the correct one when they were not. I made the appointment for him not someone else & for him to just say he’s busy & moves on to do something else was rude. Read moreWe had appointments (3 of us) when we arrived, the cashier was not very welcoming. First mistake and we should have left. They started on 2 of our pedicures but because one of us didn't want a man doing her nails and I guess a man pedicurist CAN'T perform service on another guy (?) they made my daughter wait and wait for a female tech to do her pedi. It was very obvious that they were just being mean by making her wait as there were several employees walking back and forth several times and all staring at us like we did something wrong. By the time they finally started my daughters pedi, one of us was already done with theirs. My tech was rude and very unaccommodating! I had to ask/explain several times that i needed my toenails dremeled. She pretended not to understand me. I also had 2 hangnails that needed to be removed and she had to keep doing it over and over making the sides of my toes sore. During our visit we felt like we were burdening them. So sad knowing that pedi's are supposed to be a relaxing, non stressful and fun experience. My nails are uneven, some short some longer and jagged in spots. I spent and wasted $75.00. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and every single time I got my nails done there, they would break or the nail would come off. I really liked one of their nail stylists, Windy, but I didn’t always get her. I kept going back because they did do a good job as far as the way my nails looked. This last time, a different man did my nails and I broke 3 nails in a week and a half. By doing things like taking my shoes off, opening a drawer. Things that I shouldn’t be breaking my $65 nails on. It was so inconvenient to have to keep going back to this salon to get it fixed. Yes they did it for free but I live 20 minutes away. It’s my time and gas having to keep going back.
