A Bryan's Jewelers — Local services in Lafayette

We went here over a year ago to look at engagement rings. I didn't find one I loved but had a vision, so the salesperson helped to create a rendering of what I was looking for and we talked about diamond size and band thickness. My now fiance went back several times and worked with the same salesperson to nail down my ring and it came out perfectly. I unfortunately can't remember her name, but she has a rad Olaf tattoo. We plan to go back to her for our wedding bands. Edited to add: When we first went in, it was to drop off my late grandmother's wedding set to be resize so I can wear the band everyday. They were very gentle about this and helpful in explaining the process. When I picked up, there was a more mature woman working behind the counter. She took the rings out to show me and let me try them on. She told me her mother had a very similar set and I told her it was my late grandmothers. My charming and very thoughtful husband had my diamond and emerald engagement ring custom made for me at A. Bryan's, based on a photograph of an antique. They invited me in to specify some of the finer details of the platinum setting (which took several rounds to get just right) and select the color of emeralds for the side stones (I love the bluish-green of Colombian emeralds).

The results are so stunning that a year later, whenever I look down at my hand, I still can't believe this gorgeous piece actually belongs to ME. I keep waiting for the "real owner" to come and say, "Give it back, lady!" He laughs when I say this. (I realize I'm incredibly lucky to have married a man who loves giving jewelry.)

We also found my eternity wedding band in their antique case, and I totally love it. I would have happily married him with a simple band, so all of the experience he gave me with the help of the warm and charming staff at A. Bryan's was the icing on the (wedding) cake!...
