I originally gave this place a five-star review because the staff is generally very friendly and helpful. However, my taste with the place has been more than soured with the release of the newest set of Magic the Gathering and the absurd pricing they are charging their customers for a Collector Booster Box. Instead of charging MSRP like other local stores they are choosing to instead charge online style prices despite the fact that they were able to claim them from their distributor. If it was something that was traded in and marked up I could understand, however this was pre-release pricing.

When the pre-order was available I asked how much it would be and they said they were not sure exactly, however we could expect around msrp because they would do $40 a pack and so I began slowly trading in items over the next few weeks to build up to take out the blow that would be the set pricing and instead when I received the call to pick up my product I was informed it would instead be -much- higher than MSRP.

I will still buy my singles and what not that I can't find at other local establishments, but I personally will never pre-order from this place again due to this practice and I advise others...

I am new to magic the gathering and my boyfriend told me about this place and how it is black owned, so of course I wanted to support it! My experience here was not good. Staff was unhelpful, seemed like we needed to know one of them personally to get help. There were no prices on any of the packs of cards. Unfortunately, I still ended up spending $200+. Once we were home, we realized the packs were tampered with. Some packs had cards from other sets, some had 1-2 cards extra ( or less) and some had visible signs of being resealed. Instead of making a huge deal out of this, we decided to find a new place to purchase cards. We now go to this new place almost weekly. This place is very disappointing, I hope you can do better...

I’ve been coming here for over a year and I’m autistic so I’m used to a card shops…quirks. However the girl that’s there everytime literally ignores EVERYTHING you say unless it’s about a price or to check out. She also has constantly muttered little things under her breath at me including just now when I was in the store. I get card shops are for the autists like me but can you remember you’re a STORE first and foremost? I’m never coming here again after the upteenth time of being treated like an asshole while I’m shopping. Went to another card shop and told them they said they hear it a lot. So I’m...
