Tea-Rex — Restaurant in Lafayette

First we were not greeted kindly at all. No one else at counter and two tables sitting so not busy. Not one smile from anyone there. My two girls and I were all excited to try korean corndogs for the first time. I got only cheese with potato outside. No taste at all. None. Now is that how they are traditionally made? I dont know. but i like at least a tad bit of salt on my food. The girls each got cheese and 'sausage', one with potato and the other cheeto. They werent crazy about their's either and did not like the 'sausage'. It is not a whole one and they kept wondering if they were given only cheese. You have to eat half of it til you see it and it looks like a vienna sausage and they didnt like the taste. So that's pretty shady business practice to advertise a cheese and sausage corndog but the sausage is only half the length. When they called our name, they only gave us two drinks, nothing on them say which is which, so we had to ask. we had to ask for our third drink. This time was a diff girl and again, no personality at all. Then our food came, again, nothing written on the boxes so had to figure out which belonged to each of us. Only because we asked for diff sauces did we know which dog was which that both had potato on the outside, so a good idea would be to write on it, what is inside. The sitting area had lots of food on the floor. When initially walking in and seeing how cute the interior was and all the cute little areas to hang out i thought it would be a great place to frequent but I will not return to this establishment. Too dirty, zero flavor in the food, customer service needs great improvement and not honest on the menu with what you are getting. There is not one reason i would want to return. It was not an enjoyable experience in any way except that the girls enjoys swinging in the swings chairs...

I have to agree with the previous reviews regarding customer service. The several times we’ve been here, the kids at the register are very uninviting and unprofessional. Today I walked up (only customer at the time) and the girl behind the counter approached the counter, but never looked up and finished typing on her phone. I stood there until she finished, to which she just put her phone down and looked at me. No greeting. When I told her I wanted a #5… her response was “from what?” so my obvious answer was “from the menu”. While I waited for my food order, she never made the boba tea that I had ordered too (but she did get back to that phone). After I got my food I asked if they made the tea. She obviously forgot because she started to make it. I understand that personal things happen and sometimes you need to use your phone at work, we have all been there, but this isn’t the first time which is why I am writing this review. I gave 3 stars because the boba really is the best in town, the food was good today and the place is super cute. I hope they tackle the customer service issue and make this place as good as it could be because it has so...

When I mean horrible customer service I mean horrendous, first I went in with my girlfriend and both workers were sitting at a table on their phones until they FINALLY noticed us there and the lady that came behind the counter seemed very rude and very impatient because I didn't know what I wanted at the time, she told us, "take your time!" then continued to play on her phone, so I decided to not get anything and buy hers, I figured out what I wanted and went back in, the other girl was behind the counter and I said what I wanted, she didn't tell me ANYTHING about the chip reader, when the receipt came out she threw the receipt in front of me without care in the world and told me to sign it while walking away from the counter, no pens were in sight and she also told me nothing about where the pens were, I asked about the pens and she carelessly gave me the pen by throwing it onto the DISGUSTING looking countertop, I signed it and when she came back she basically snatched it out of my hands, fix your workers because they know NOTHING about respect.
