My cousin told me about this bakery and said to try them out the next time I was in town. I’m so glad I did! The lady helping me was very nice and patient as I was deciding how many cookies to get. She was also kind enough to box them in a certain way as I was ordering for multiple people. The boxes even included tips on how to store the cookies and eat them!! Only 4 flavors were available out of the 8 August options when I went (lava cake, birthday sandwich, half baked, and circus cookie) which I was kind of bummed about, but I made it work. I really wanted to try the chocolate chip (my cousin highly recommended) and the blueberry crumble so I guess I will have to return one day! Not only was the location, atmosphere, set up, and services were great but also the cookies!!!! Absolutely delicious and very moist! Out of the 4 I tried, half baked is my favorite then lava then birthday cake and last is circus. Birthday cake and circus did not necessarily have that “wow” factor that half baked did. Meanwhile, lava was still good because it was just the right about of ooey gooey lava in the center! The powdered sugar on top was a great touch too! I like how they also offer punch cards. If I remember correctly, every 10th visit, you get something? I do not recall what it was, but it was some sort of prize after so many visits. That’s a great way to get customers to keep coming and adds an extra thrill for each visit. I can’t wait to come back to try other flavors, and I will also recommend this local bakery to...
Read moreThe cookies were great, but what happened in line really soured my experience. I showed up at 10:45 in order to be at the front of the line. I had a meeting at 11:30. I stood at one of the two doors with another person who was already waiting. The girl that I assume is the owner opened the door and said, "we don't open until 11." And I said I'll wait here.
Little did we know that another line started forming a few minutes later at the other door. Never once did the owner tell us that a line formed on the other door, or that we should go to the other door. Then, whenever 11 rolled around, of course they opened up the other door. So instead of being at the front of the line, I was about 20 people behind.
I was late for my meeting. I couldn't leave, because this was the only chance I had that day to come get the cookies. It was not only Valentine's Day, but it was my wife's birthday as well.
They really needs to be a sign at one of the doors to signify that this is where the line forms. This would have been a 5 star review if that had not happened....
Read moreVery disappointing. We are from out of town and were staying in a hotel near Caroline’s Cookies, and my 6 year old and I were excited about trying the cookies. Unfortunately when we saw the location we noticed they were closed but I promised my 6 year old we would go before we left town to get cookies to take home. We got there at 10:50 today and waited in line and then were told we needed a time slot and to show the time slot on our phones, well I did not know a reserved time slot was needed and was told to come back at 1:20. My little girl cried to the car because we are on our way home. Due to not being able to get any cookies I had a very disappointed little girl. You obviously have enough business but your time slot policy does not reflect you are open to the public at 11:00 therefore, your hours should reflect when you are open to the public which is 1:20 and reserved time slots begin at 11:00. Enjoy your...
