Although I loved the place at first and told all my friends about it, when I went again, I was accused of stealing and asked to leave because I had an item they carried in my bag. I assured them that I bought it on a previous trip and even have an account with them, asking them to bring up my transaction, but in all honesty, being accused of being a thief hurt (especially so as I'm a dark skinned black woman). After verifying her on-hand count was correct and me giving her the correct date I made my transaction, she apologized, but it was more of an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" rather than "I'm sorry for accusing you of being a liar and a thief."

Although I love the new hire Erika and Jessica who's one of the best helpers there is, the manager Courtney really let me down. I don't think I want to go back anymore. I'd rather go all the way to Breaux Bridge for Le Video Store, Cupid's Closet, Crave, etc., but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone anymore. I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my experience here. Unfortunately, my visit to this store was very disappointing. The manager, Asia, did not provide good customer service and came across as unhelpful and dismissive. On top of that, one of the employees, Bri, also gave poor service. I felt ignored the entire time I was in the store — no one offered assistance, guidance, or even basic courtesy.

When visiting a store like Cindie’s, customers often have questions and expect staff to be approachable and supportive. Instead, I was left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. A store’s environment and employees should make customers feel respected and valued, and sadly that was not the case here.

Lady at the register was very very rude and yelled at us to see our id’s when we walked in and I had been before and never ided. After that we shopped around for about 10 min and she watched us the whole time as if we were gonna steal something and was judging us with her eyes. Then when we were about to check out she yelled at us to ask if we were gonna be much longer saying they were closing soon…..it was 1pm on a Saturday. She yelled in front of everyone and embarrassed us so we just put everything back and went to crave. Will not be going back again. She had brown hair brown eyes and tattoos she was reading a book behind register…..needs to be let go asap. It’s costing...
