Had a mother of the groom dress altered. Fist off she didn't pin the hem to ensure the right length. The front was too short after altered. Had the shoulder and arm pit altered too. The arm area was not finished off and sequins on sleeves were not tyed off. As I tried on, sequins were falling off. She looked at it and said she missed one thread when tying off. I suggested they keep the dress to double check everything. I was told no need for that. When I got the dress home, more sequins fell off in bag. I found several threads that were clipped and found the arm hole hadn't been finished off. Very sloppy job. I also had a scheduled appointment to try on, after the alterations were made. When I got to the shop it was closed and no one was around. Usually going to a good alteration place I was expecting to pay quite a bit but RN Luxury Couture did a phenomenal job and was extremely reasonable. I thought I just needed a simple hem but they pointed out that they also needed to bring in the back a little. Not only did they get it done super fast but it fit so perfectly.
