This is an awesome Mexican restaurant tucked into a random strip mall in Lafayette—so pretty unassuming from the outside. Upon entering you’re greeted by tons of colorful chairs, tables and walls. We were seated and ordered an Horchata while we waited for our fajitas. The horchata was delicious-a little bit thicker and more flavorful than the average restaurant. The fajitas were really tasty, but what stood out were the fresh, stewed beans in place of the mortar-like stuff that one normally gets. Also the homemade tortillas that came with the fajitas. Everything there was so fresh and unique!

How did I not know about this place!!!! I love Mexican food and thought I had tried most off the places in Lafayette but I missed this one and it is awesome!!!! The staff was super sweet. Nice music, and the food oh my goodness!!!! So hot and fresh, I burned my fingers on the fried empanadas, if you have never had a fried empanada then your life is incomplete and it is worth the drive or even the walk from campus!!!! (The bus stops a block away too) Do yourself a favor and stop here the next time you are hungry!!!!

This might be my new favorite Mexican place in town. The tortilla chips here are amazing - they are hot, crisp, and lightly salted. And the salsa has more flavor than what you usually find in this kind of fare. And their red sauce is mind blowing. They put pictures of everything on their menu, so it's very easy to know what you're getting even if you're weak in Spanish.

Hole in the wall hidden away location but this remains the best Mexican in the area! Prices are high for basic common ingredients, dingy atmosphere, and non English service but as usually, cannot turn down this place! A huge menu, incredibly friendly service despite the linguistic barriers, and classic Spanish fütball on the TV. My parents dishes were huge for the price, very tasty all over from horchatta to my mom's vegan burrito. My sister noticed the beef in her dish was tough, must have been an older cut because mine was fine. The interior atmosphere is copied from a Magdalena spot I visited some years ago. The Tuesday tacos are amazing. Shrimp and sausage fajitas are my pick, horchata is that authentic treat I'll take any day over the American sodas, and no other place in town gets everything right...

Amaaazing fresh tortillas. They really elevate anything made or served with tortillas: soft tacos, fajitas. You will want extra tortillas 💕...Delicious toasty carnitas topping with a rich pork flavor, delicious al pastor (tender and richly spicy). Great fajitas, shrimp. Soft tacos are very generously sized. Nice zesty house salsa, and freshly made, warm, crispy chips. Nice house green and red sauces. Cool undersea decor with tropical fish painted everywhere! I need to come back and try some of the seafood dishes! I love this place! Head and shoulders above any Mexican place I've tried in the last 2 decades from Lafayette, Indiana to...
