Update: It is now January 2025. I dropped my TV and cash deposit off in May of 2023 and was told it would be ready in one or two weeks tops. Fast forward about 20 months and still no TV and now he won't answer our calls unless we call from a different number.
TLDR: Buyer beware. Brought our TV to him to fix. Quoted us 1-2 weeks. He took our cash deposit, 8 months later now and still no TV.
Disappointed. Reviews made this guy sound like the real deal but he’s had our TV since May 2023 with our cash deposit. Told us it’d be done in a week, two weeks tops. When we called, like he instructed us to, he said he needed another week. Gave him another week and it still wasn’t ready. Claimed he was waiting to receive a part. When we called to follow up 2 weeks later he said, “oh yeah, I was waiting on that, I haven’t received the part yet.” If he truly is waiting on a part, I get being at the mercy of others but as a business owner I would be following up and hounding whoever I need to in order to get my customers piece done. Quoting 1-2 weeks and claiming a single piece is taking 6+ months to come in? Not acceptable. If this is truly the case, he should have told us that these parts can take a long time to get, not that he needed another week. I was hesitant to write this review but at this point, I don’t expect to ever get my money or TV back, he’s probably already resold it or scrapped it for parts, hoping we’d just forget about it. I’ve noticed that others who have had similar experiences were also trying to get their TVs fixed so he is most likely doing something shady with them. I called Jeff and he listened carefully to my description and asked questions. He then said it would be best for him to come to the house to look at the T.V. Jeff arrived at the house within an hour, and rather quickly discovered it was not a hardware problem; the T.V. needed to connect via the Internet to get regular updates to continue getting signals.
