I came in the evening 45 minutes before closing, only 2 other customers were in there. I was greeted by an employee who offered a complimentary chocolate. I grabbed what I needed off the shelf, but I also wanted to pick custom box of chocolates from the counter. The gentleman who helped me seemed annoyed with his job or something. As it takes a few minutes to pick what you want. He kept breathing heavy, liked he was annoyed plus they were OUT of several different chocolates, which was weird! When it came time to ring me up, the gentleman tells me, next time I'd be better off choosing a box of chocolates off the shelf, because they have everything you want. Uh, No, they don't! That's why I wanted a custom box made! Never has this Ever happened to me at Any See's! Maybe he was having a Bad day or maybe it's time to retire! I'll only go back because See's is the Best, But maybe Not...

I have visited this location on many occasions as I live in Lafayette. On both of my last visits I have encountered Renee and her rudeness toward me, first time her Attitude, tone, and actions spoke of her Discrimination toward me and I left sad and hurt with no candy. Second time, the young lady in front of me sad to go ahead she was not ready, Renee once again, so Rude in helping me as I was a bother and it was so out of her way, I only had two pieces which she said that will be $4.67, then then proceed to ring me up and over charge me at $6.43, and with no sample. I told her she was rude and will reach out to corporate, she said go right ahead and tell them hello. What kind of candy store is this. This is discrimination. This small candy store sells my favorite: their milk chocoalte butterscotch squares are killer (though can be border-line overkill with the level of sweet). Very brown sugary delicious.

The parking here is crazy; this entire shopping plaza is full of driving nuts most days. But once you get inside it's cool, calm, and the smell of happiness is all around you.
