So this place is amazing not only are they the most affordable places around. I was had flown in from Cody Wyoming where they have the most expensive tailors in the world maybe not in the world but they're very expensive and I had a pair of hundred-dollar jeans that I needed hemmed I remember it original hems being in the area that I was going to be staying in Orange County I called there around 6 at night and said that I was flying out the next day and I need to get them hemmed right away the woman said yes no problem. However, I got there a little closer to 7:30 and that lady had left but there was a very nice (younger) gentleman who said that he could get these done no problemđ He came out about 2 minutes later and explained that he didn't have the exact thread but honestly it was so close to the original that I couldn't tell the difference and figured nobody else was going to tell the difference either.
Long story short with less than 30 minutes until closing they had the job done in less than 10 minutes. Charged me a mere $8 bucks. They put them in a dry cleaning bag on a hanger and I was on my way.
Super Happy...
Read moreI wanted to try Original Hems after I found out they are less expensive than my current tailor. I had a pair of dress pants hemmed and 3 dress shirts tapered at the sides and sleeves.
The tapering work on the shirts was not good. The spacing of the stitching is uneven and of poor quality. The finishing is shoddy and there are lots of loose threads at the cuffs, sleeves and sides. There are holes on the sleeve from the factory stitching where the cuffs were reapplied too low after tapering the sleeve.
Also, two of the three shirts were returned to me with what looks like grease stains on them. I tried stain remover and washing the shirts. No luck. Two $40 shirts ruined.
The hem line on the pants was not bad, but it is more noticeable than the hems done by my current tailor. I'll gladly pay a few extra bucks for better quality work by the other tailor and to not have my brand new...
Read moreDonât go here. They rush you through the alterations, and rush you out when you pickup. I brought 2 pairs of $350 pants and both are completely ruined. Theyâre too short, and the one pair now has a side seam that comes to the middle of the pant leg and ends at the middle of the bottom. While the other leg goes straight down the side of the leg as it should. Iâm mind blown at how that could even be messed up. Go to Le Papillon, sheâs much more trustworthy and was on vacation when I chose to use this place. Please save your money and go elsewhere I spent over $100 here and now my $700 in pants are destroyed!!!! Also all my clothes had tags on them and were brand new yet I didnât receive any brand new item...
